Got to love the new rumours of a Bayern bid for Mata.
Seems to be made up on Twitter.![]()
But you're keeping your fingers crossed.![]()

Juan o'clock he arrived.
He's only 25 as well, same age as Ozil...!
Even if Moyes can't turn it around (I hope he can), he'll barely be reaching his prime when we get another manager in.
Yes, because that's a totally fair comeback/reinforces his point. It's pretty simple to understand, unless you're a SEN kid :-\.

Will he even be 26?![]()
Is it me or is Cosimo pretty much trying to say anything to convince himself this isn't happening? The whole time it's been amusing the amount of deflection to try and laugh it off as speculation.
Just as many people said in the summer when there were links, it was obvious that Mata wasn't going to feature and Jose didn't fancy him as a player, but oh no, everyone was mental, Juan was the man.
Now he's off as predicted and is just a Jose reject, apparently. Apart from being POTY twice in a row and racking up what, 20 goals 30+ assists in all competitions?
There's no other player I would have rather we got than Mata from the league, the sexy *******.

No, it's not about merely strengthening a team, it's about the timing of it and protecting sporting integrity. Given Chelsea don't have to play Manyoo again, but their rivals do, strengthening them at this point in a season is unfair in Wenger's eyes. He has similar, albeit different, concerns when it comes to loaning out players in the Premier League now that loanees cannot play against their own clubs - so Chelsea have used the loan system to their advantage by loaning out Lukaku, for example.
So, selling Mata now is fundamentally (and clearly!) different to selling RVP, or whoever else, in a summer window.
