January Transfer Window

Could be interesting, if Berbatov forces a move, he may go slightly cheaper than people are expecting particularly as he hasnt really done enough this year to warrant a big price tag.

which is why i said nice use of the stats :)

Why just use prem stats and not all comps? Because Tevez was trailing behind?

As I said, we were talking about the Premier League at the time and I got the statistics from another site.
As for Europe, does it matter? After all, we didn't exactly struggle through our group.
There was no oneupmanship or anything of the sort when I posted the statistics, I posted the Premiership stats as those are the ones that ultimately matter.

Ah well then, using that logic he'll be off for £3.5m then.

The fact every CL club and his dog will be after him has nothing to do with it...

Well we've been linked to Berbatov again, as I'm sure most clubs will be.

Fergie has pretty much said that if we sign anyone it won't be from a team that is playing in the Champions League or UEFA Cup so that we'd still be able to play them in the Champions League.

If Berbatov goes I'd probably expect it to be around the £14m, I doubt it would go much higher than £16m/£17m

He's 27 and only has a few years left at his prime, there's no doubting the fact that he's an investment for the next 3 or 4 seasons though.

Freddy Eastwood to Swansea, most likely on loan from Wolves.

Is that rumours or definate?

Freddy had a good spell at Southend when he was there and looks quite promising for Wolves at the start of the season.

It obviously wont be a permanent deal since he only just joined Wolves at the start of the season, unless he's not been up to their expectations??

Fair enough but i noticed no mention of the EPL when you gave those stats. Not sure why only the EPL counts though, unless either player is only playing in that competition.
Which 8-0 game did Torres play in Frank? And which game is being investigated?
Sigh, hopefully rubbish :)

Why? IINM his contract is up in the summer and would do a better job than Saha.

I wouldn't say no to an extra player if they were at the right price. But I don't think he's the type of player we need.

Unless Fergie is trying to get a close match to the four strikers we had eight years ago.

I think he'd be a great buy for any of the top 4. He's a natural goalscorer/penalty box player which is something i don't think any of the top 4 have (maybe Arsenal do with Eduardo), good age, good price and seemingly not fussed about sitting on the bench.

I wouldn't be suprised if we make a move for him if his contract is coming up (hopefully a Spurs fan can confirm that) with Crouch possibly going out the door.
