Japanese Grand Prix 2010, Suzuka - Race 16/19

That picture is fricking hilarious! :D

I could even hear Smedleys voice whilst reading it. God im feeling shattered this afternoon, and I havent even seen any chuffing racing. Who's making the bacon sarnies in the morning then? :p

Here Here :o:D

I was up at 4:40 (thanks to our alarm clock being 20 minute fast....) ready for the coverage only to realise there wasn't any. I did enjoy watching Lee Mckenzie though. To me she looks like a slighty more mature Katy Perry.

I've only got enough bacon for 2 butties - and they are both mine. :D

Home made bacon *even made from local piggies*, local free range eggs, home made hash browns and home made fresh bread. :D

You can tell that the other half is away now... I eat better. :D

In case of any confusion, this is the schedule:

BBC1, 1.50am to 3.30am Formula 1 Qualifiers

BBC1, 3.30am to 6am News

BBC1, 6am to 9.10am Formula 1 The Japanese Grand Prix

After the disappointment of not seeing qually this morning it has now just dawned on me there's going to be hours and hours to watch tomorrow! :D

Now there is just the issue of the 2am start...

You could have a 3 hour kip between Qualifying and the beginning of the race show.

Or you could just record from 2am till 9am.

Wake up at 9am and then watch the qualifying and race, with none of the chit chat bull which makes up half the show.

I'm off to brands tomorrow for btcc, wondering if there is anywhere if we get there early that would be showing the race? Also saw that gow announced hd btcc next year, let's hope Bernie pulls the finger out!

What happens if by some chance the re-scheduled qualifying session is rained off the same? does the race get cancelled or do they just keep delaying?

So how many of his 91 wins did he win by cheating, FrankJH? I mean, you say "usually", so presumably you mean that at the very least more than half of those wins involved him cheating?

If you could give me specifics for 46 wins where he cheated, that'd be great. That's just over half of his current tally, after all.

I guess you are ignorning the Ferrari years when Barrichello, Irvine and Massa(to a lesser extent) where not allowed to attempt to beat him

The championship in 94 shoud have been stripped from him (along with the wins) due to what happened in Adelaida), and if anyone is stupid enough to doubt he did it on purprose 97 proves it catagorically. '97 wins should be stripped from the record, because of what he did to JV's car (even if it was unsuccessful)

His record would look remarkably different if the CORRECT decisions had been made by the FIA but as always they whimped out as they always seem to do when the tough decisions are needed.

FYI Just because Senna did similar isnt a reasonable arguement imo - yes he may have been one of the greatest (hard to judge different eras like Clarke, GHill, Surtees, Stewart, Fangio etc against 80's/90's/00's drivers) but his infalability shouldnt allow for future generations to get away with the same thing

And for the record its quite probable that if MS had won 10-14 less races he wouldnt have won a single championship , and that would put a completely different reflection on his F1 record, so 46 is completely irrelevant

They can't delay it for too long as there are other events happening. If they can't qualify at all - then the grid is car number order.

I'm actually missing the 2 day qualifying - was always a touch entertaining when it rained. :D
