Think they'll wait a bit just in case it gets better with lower fuel as the Merc is never the best in the first stint anyway. Hmm, would be nice to see Hamilton's times, if he's still doing a 1:42 and grosjean is doing 1:38's they probably will retire.

If he doesn't start making progress, he is currently slower than pretty much everyone, it would certainly make a bit of sense to retire and get a new gearbox and save the engine mileage.

I must have missed something. How did the floor on Hamiltons car get damaged?? Was it when the tyre went?

yes, bits of tire, he was left with only the hub so it all flung off and must have done some decent damage.

Yeah, tyre went first corner and they didn't show when the tyre turned into one of those flapping damaging piles of crap but likely a decent way from the pits.

Rosberg going to get a penalty soon, a deserved one for the stupid ass team mistake.

Grosjean got mighty close to the Merc engineer as he turned in as well.

When the tyre carcass fails it flails about a bit and has been known to often damage the rear of the floor, and at times, sidepods, suspension, rear wing...

Mercedes having a day to forget so far. Rosberg going to get a drive through or a large fine for Mercedes for that release.

Think Rosberg probably helped Hulk as he went off came out slow a couple laps before they pitted and would have been very slow and holding them up at that point.
