Just about to start cooking my bacon and egg butty. Picked up some duck eggs yesterday so going to have a couple of them.

I really hope they don't start behind the safety car, it is only going to get wetter so could be we never get racing. No chance of safety car until the track is clear and everyone switches to inter so savouring the chance of an actual wet race.

Well, that would be brave. But with a safety car start you'll have to start on the full wet tyres.
But also with a safety car start, the FIA will run it around out there until the track is almost dry. SC comes in, all the drivers will dive for the pit for Inters or even slicks.

Hmm, that's wet. We all know what the FIA will do now... ruin it
I really hope not, it doesn't seem to be raining too much at the moment, hopefully it'll dry up enough in the next 15min for a proper start.

Is that true, there hasn't been a wet race since 2012?
The level of rain and standing water looks just fine for a normal start and race at the moment.

I think that whatever happens, if we get any racing today, it will be chaotic

Coulthard just said more of a drizzle at the monent so doesnt think it will be a SC start

Davidson just spoke to Meylander and at the moment he is starting the race under SC.
the track is slightly moist so it will be a SC start.
Cant remember the last proper wet start we had.
Why dont they taxi the cars around for 2-3 laps before the start to clear some water then do a race start or get some of the sweaper/heater vehicles to dry it a bit or just let them ******* race...
