Japanese Grand Prix 2014, Suzuka - Race 15/19

Vettel and Button to Ferrari I have heard...makes no sense but stranger things

Paying Kimi off again would be utterly ridiculous. But we do seem to be heading back to the laughable Ferrari of the 80's again, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Plus, that's a damn strange lineup to want.

Next, can we get the FOM/FIA to stop heritage payments?

Bailifs appear to have stolen Kobayashi's grip - significant off. Commentators already speculating whether they'll be able to race in Russia due to a severe shortage on spares.

No way, Kimi will stay, vettel will go there however.

You may well be right, I am not claiming inside knowledge, simply sharing from someone who shared it who has shown to have some inside knowledge on stuff previously. Also said Alonso had signed for Macca 6 weeks ago :)

Yep I know you're just passing on your info :) I just don't think Ferrari would take Button and kick Kimi out of the seat. Vettel on the other hand, even though he's a nob, he does have something to offer.

Edit. If Alonso goes to McLaren then he must know something the rest of us don't. There is no way he would return there on promises of glory alone, not after his last outing with them. He must have been shown/witnessed the Honda package, the plans, the whatevers and be seriously impressed. If he goes back to McLaren they must have a damn good package for next season, maybe the lack of performance from them for the last few years could be down to the amount of R&D they have put in to next years 'Honda'. Just like Merc invested so much in their future car which we're now seeing.

If Alonso goes back, I think the paddock should be looking at McLaren as a big contender next year, because he won't be looking to drive another dog.

Of course I'm probably worng so just ignore what you have read :)

Second favorite race :D Definitely worth getting up early for, just need to make sure I get an early night. Podium prediction, Hamilton, Rosberg, Ricciardo.

Going by their financial probelms it wouldn't surprise me if Caterham don't make the end of the season. Tbh it wouldn't be a surprise if others struggled to make the end of the season also.

I hope you are right as I would love to see Alonso take another champsionship or 2 before he retires. You could argue the flipside though, Alonso has seen next years Ferrari and knows it will be another dog so while moving to McLaren isn't the greatest of moves it offers a small hope rather than no hope.

What do you mean if he goes Macca? he signed on the dotted line last week, told you this already. :)

Ok he's going to McLaren, if that is the case then the rest of the paddock should perhaps be worried, because imo he would only have gone back with a total belief that the car is going to be awesome.

More news.....

Sebastian Vettel will be driving for Ferrari from 2015... partnering Kimi Raikonnen... no rumours, fact :D:D:D

LOVING THIS!!!

Yeah but from one dog to another? It's like dumping Katie Price for Susan Boyle.

Mclaren will be paying Alonso 35 Million Euros a year Salary :D

GET IN! Alonso at Mclaren, Happy days :D

Who does that leave then for Mclaren... they've managed to coup Alonso, and what a steal that is... but with Vettel signed for Ferrari and KR staying put then it only leaves the other Mclaren seat as a straight fight between Jenson Button and Kevin Magnusson.
