Japanese Grand Prix 2014, Suzuka - Race 15/19

I agree with this guy on sky sports website though...

"Starting to get more and more disgusted with the way McLaren are treating Jenson. They give him a dog of a car for three years running and then repay him by keeping him in the dark as they try and replace him with an Alonso or a Hamilton who would be willing to drive for what has become a mid-field team. "

When you put it like that .....

What crap. Button did the same to brawn did he not ;)

Vimto to Ferrari, button to leave McLaren.

Button stuck with Brawn and took a massive pay cut to do it, funded his own flights and flew economy everywhere.... just one of the things he did to help them out, and rewarded the team with a WDC and money in the bank. Hardly fair to compare two different things.

What ever. Now stop crying..ok.. So who are you going to follow or are you just going to bash everyone else?

Anyways I think I'll be supporting whoever Mclaren have next, so both drivers, and obviously Jenson for however long he is driving in the Sport, but we'll see what happens.

Tbh of I was Alonso I'd take the rbr seat of it came available

I do wonder if it will be all change at McLaren
So it seems Honda have a lot of say in McLaren then?

al4x... They do, Honda have got clout. Even reports suggesting that Gerhard Berger may be taking over from Ron Dennis with Mclaren's shareholders unhappy with the financial funding.

Interesting.
I knew it was much more than an engine supplier but didn't know they were this deep into the running of the team

Can't wait for Honda to be in it. I really hope they do well.

I wonder what livery they will run with Williams being so white

I can see myself with a McLaren hat next year

Alonso has not been a World Champ for a long time now, I can't see how going to McLaren will fix that any time soon. RBR will surely be his best chance of a WDC in the not too distant future.

Hamilton joins Alonso at McLaren for a second attempt at happy families, Vettel joins Mercedes, Button goes to RBR. ;)
