Japanese Grand Prix 2015, Suzuka - Race 14/19

Probably sucking up to all the Japanese types that will be miffed if Jenson left.

Oh, and you have to think he's having a word with some Honda suits :p

I know they're considering their reserve driver, but would Lotus also consider Button and is it something that Button would be interested in?

No, Button said it's either McLaren or no one. I personally feel he's trying to negotiate a 2 year contract - why stick around for one more year when the car will most likely come good (if it does) in 2017?

Lauda: “Jenson & Ron are clever enough to get it together. Jenson said to me yesterday he wants to drive there & he doesn’t want to retire”

More Lauda: "I said to Jenson, fight your fight with Ron over money, because it is always the same. But then stay."

Saving space for an earth dreams colour scheme.

A dynamic, predatory graphite-grey colouration, complemented by McLaren day-glow 'speedmarks' and key lines...to optimise (the car) not only for bright sunshine but also for floodlights used in twilight and night race.'

I read that Ron won't reduce his price, and he still considers a partner should pay about 50 percent of the cost of racing. So when it was costing 100 million a year, he expected the likes of Vodaphone to pony up 50 million. Now it's costing 200 million, he's expecting a title sponsor to pay up 100 million. That is a lot of money for advertising on the side of a car that is always at the at the back, not getting as many views thanks to the move to subscription TV, and which may tarnish your brand for being such a terrible car.

Guarantee one overtake tomorrow, Hamilton passing rosberg.

I'd like to see Hamilton overtake Rosberg and then see the battle for second between Rosberg Bottas and Vettel.

With the points so close between Rosberg and Vettel the smallest margins are going to make a big difference.

Sounds like not much of Kvyats car survived.
New engine, gearbox, floor and chassis... Along with the normal suspension, bodywork, wings, brakes and so on.

I don't think it'll be better than last year unfortunately.

I'm expecting Vettel to get past Bottas too, but then again, Austria and Bahrain spring to mind.

Horner said that after a big impact, every part of the car becomes a potential safety issue. - So they built a new car. Either way, they were going to start from the pit lane due to breeching Parc Ferme, so you may as well just build a new car.
