Berserker and I have sorted out our banks and NoChex and Paypal accounts so that people wanting to donate can do so.

For those of you who don't know the story it is here:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17418219

This collection was prompted by mightynimrod's thread:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17418295

We all wish Jay a speedy recovery and hopefully this collection can help bring a little bit of joy in what is no doubt a very unsettled time in his life.

I shall be looking after the bank transfer aspects and Berserker will edit my post and add his NoChex and Paypal details.

Please include your forum name in the transfer so I can keep track of things :)

Bank Details removed

You don't have to state how much you are donating, and every little counts. I shall be in touch with Dead Dog to organise what he wants to do with the money in due course. :)

Thank you for your generosity once again :)

Will

-----

Many thanks for your donations via PayPal and/or Nochex. Collection of donations via these methods has now ended and the total amount collected via these means (£224.15) has been forwarded to Will via bank transfer. Should any further donations arrive at the PayPal or Nochex accounts, they will be forwarded to an appropriate charity.

i really can't thank everyone enough for this, we are all chuffed to bits over this.

a huge thanks to mightynimrod and the dons for sorting this out :)

we are trying to think of what to get, trying to think of something that'll be around for ever/very long time, rather than normal toys that will get grown out of.

chatting with spanker @ work, he mentioned a mini steam traction engine (hammond/mammod ?), sounded like a good idea, or a 'proper' radio controlled car or helicoppter (after his recent trip in a real one!!), tho i may not want to be about when he learns to fly it :D :D

again many thanks!

So can we geta total at this early stage?

It is an early stage and not all transfers have come through and I can't tell what has been sent via nochex or paypal.

However what has been cleared through the bank so far is £57 which is brilliant :)

Can all the people that have sent me a bank transfer email me your username and real name (or whatever name you use with your bank) as I want to keep track of making sure the money has come in and nothing has been lost etc.

[email protected]

Thanks :)
