Jeff Stelling and Souness leaving Sky

Sky clearly having a big revamp for next season with a lot of the old guard going (and binning off soccer am).

Feels like he’s been pushed to be honest as surely Skys voice of the PL for its entire history would have had a proper on air send off?

With BT Sports turning into TNT (and Laura Woods taking over there supposedly) prem coverage will get a long overdue fresh coat of paint next season.

I actually feel like they’re trying to change too much at once.

I don’t want it becoming an overload of YouTubers, social media, grime music and people who know bugger all about football, but are young and cool

They dont even have many of those left, they've sacked almost half of their matchday commentators, the likes of Geoff Shreeves, Guy Havord, Dickie Davis, Bianca Westwood, Greg Whelan, Lynsey Hooper and Jaydee Dyer have all gone. Shame about Jaydee Dyer, I really liked him, great presenting skills and very knowledgeable of the game.

Can you imagine if they try to replace them with all those fan cam muppets you see on youtube.

I try not to !

Personally I think they've been culled because its my suspicion that Soccer Saturday will be scrapped, I reckon it will be replaced with more of a "sat on a sofa" type of chat show, sort of a cross between Soccer AM and This Morning, with guest stars etc. I think the soccer saturday , panel format with all the matches being reported on by remote reporters style will be history now

If that’s the case I’ll be switching to TNT sports panel show.

That format is and will always be the best. Who wants to listen to people rabbiting on about their new album or acting role while all the scores are rolling in?

Dont they already do one of those with some youtube 'personalities'? Had it pop up on my youtube feed from time to time.

TNT have got rid of the BT Score show as well for next season so don't know what their offering will be if any.

Might be down to BBC Final Score from the traditional score update shows!
 
Tyler was incredible for probably for 20+ years

Has been horrendous for quite a few now though, still probably the best in my life time though
 
Afraid not old man

Drury is great but at times a bit over the top, probably the best as you've said though
I barely watched Scottish football but the guy who used to do the old firm games was good, did some english games for other networks I think
