Jimmy Savile - Sexual Predator

After watching Panorama last night I was shocked at all the blind eyes which allowed him to carry on like he did, it's not as if he was furtive about what he was doing.

At least now the BBC are obliged to drag the other skeletons out of the cupboard.

Because of my views in the post above, i have to disagree with you.
The BBC cannot be trusted to carry out a proper investigation. It gives them too much scope to bury or even pervert evidence that could be used in criminal trials. They have too much to loose and too much to hide.
 
I forgot about this person who lives local to me.
I've just been to the outdoor and seen our local Jimmy Savile who is an oldish bloke who walks up and down our area and looks uncannily like Savile.
He even wears a Jim'll Fix It t-shirt and he's just been the talk of the outdoor.
He's obviously been very proud for many years to look like Savile but we don't think he knows what has happened :D

It reminds me of these lads from Stoke who I've played in bands with for years but their very successful tribute ended with one headline.

Especially if those involved are above the internal investigation, I'd imagine it could be quite possible for those who have climbed the ladder over the years.

But then again, why wouldn't you if he was until that point one of the most extraordinary people you had seen, and were non the wiser of his 'activities'?

I was surprised how long it took people to come around. Even after 30 people claimed it they we're all 'fame seekers' apparently :rolleyes:

I think the mods need to put some sort of statement at the beginning of the thread. Any outsider reading this thread at first glance time may get the wrong impression of the RIP posters.
 
He passed and waved at me and my Dad going through Merthyr Tydfil on one of his endless charity runs. Circa 1980.

He was running and wearing himself out (he was exhausted).

He saw me, lifted his head, smiled and waved.

I was so excited that he acknowledged me.

i really dont understand why anyone would like him even if he did have his own show, he still looked like a weirdo, ive never liked him and even as a kid, didnt like his show, just because of the fact he was a queer un..
