Jimmy Savile - Sexual Predator

So whats happening with Star then? need to catch up on all this, just caught the front of a paper whilst getting some fuel earlier.

He did seem very uneasy when I was watching someone interview him the other week, very uneasy, not saying he done anything, but he certainly sounded like he knew something...

He claimed to have never worked with Saville, video of him on the same show.
he claimed to have never met the alleged victim, video of him with her.

Not dodgy at all.

Now while he can be forgiven for not remembering every fan, there must be thousands. Saville was a legend, anyone that worked with him will remember it.

2 more victims have come out in the BBC abuse scandal. They claim they were regularly abused by elderly men on a weekly basis then locked away until next time. The victims Sooty and Sweep are said to be so traumatised they're speechless.

That is so poor I had to read it twice to be sure I read it correctly

I fell into the trap of taking Saville at face value - eccentric, odd, but a man that had dedicated most of his life to charity work - hence my initial post at the beginning of this thread. What has come out since obviously changes that view entirely - all that time he was a predatory, vile, sick old paedo who used his celebrity and charitable status to cover his tracks.

However, this article from the BBC website says pretty much what we said when we were talking about this at work the other day:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20190426

However vile Saville's actions and the fact that there must have been people within the BBC that new exactly what was going on and kept 'schtum', I find something equally distasteful about the way our newspapers and politicians have descended on the story like a pack of rabid hyenas, eager to deflect attention away from their phone-hacking and expenses fraud.

I mentioned the hilarious anti BBC propagander machine going in to over load when this broke.

It's terrible that people kept quiet, but this wasn't just people within the BBC there were other people in power, very high up that clearly knew about this.

It does also provide a huge distraction to all the phone hacking stories and expenses, which are still going on.

That is utterly disgusting hurfdurf, slightly related, I can't remember the name of the quite recent MP who said that women who go out dressed up create 'unrealistic expectations' gob smacked over people's attitude to this.

Really, I'd have thought it an expression of your mental age given the previous posts you have made along with the admonishments you have received.
