An even more pointless investigation.

9/11 happened because of America's one-sided view of the middle east, it's unswearving support for Israel, it's blocking for decades of any hint of censure of Israel in the UN, illegal invasions etc,etc,etc....

9/11 was not the first strike on America only the most spectacular and successful.

As for Saville, remember he was not the only one who got away with it, you have that Liberal MP Smith.

I believe most of the people are victims but I wonder how many of the hundreds of victims are publicity seekers. After all anyone who ever met Saville could claim anything. Who could prove them wrong, Saville is dead.

You may want to do a bit of reading around the psychology of victims of sexual abuse. It is not uncommon at all for victims to blame themselves for what happened and keep it secret for many years. You just need to look at the abuse that took place within the Catholic Church for another example.

Do you honestly think that all of these women are lying? If so, for what purpose?

Investigating the 'alleged' (alleged!!!!!!) crimes he's commited and destroying the memories of saville to his family when the guy cant stand trial in court and defend himself. Innocent till proven guilty, cant really do that when the guy is brown bread.

The one thing that tells me people just want to join the saville band wagon, is how all these apparent victims of saville, suddenly come out of the wood work when the guy dies and an investigation is opened by the police. I may as well, pick up the phone, dial 999 and tell them I was a victim too. Prove otherwise!!!

The guy is dead, no one is going to get any compensation and saville will never be punished if he stood trial and was infact found guilty.

Now go and do some real police work, like catching criminals that are still alive!

I think most of the work is going into support for victims and to find out how the hell he was able to commit so many crimes and get away with it for so long. Saying that because he's dead we should just move on is so small minded it's unreal! Imagine if one of your family members had been a victim, would you be happy for the police to just shut up shop and ignore it? Of course not, you'd want them to investigate and find out if anyone had been covering it up etc.

Plus I imagine one of the reasons some people didn't come forward whilst he was alive was due to threats.

Yes, I think some people are finding it difficult to understand its not about Saville, its about how it was allowed to happen.

Never forget the amount of rape apologists and women hating mens rights activists are on this forum. There are some people here who will genuinely believe that prosecuting rapists is unfair in some ways because it wasn't real rape as the victims could have said "no" to Saville or some nonsense, there are also others who hate women and want to project the idea that all women make up rapes to hurt men.

Check out this interview with Jimmy Saville, if you read between the lines there are flat out admissions to having abused the patients at the hospitals he lived in. Shhh, you should be expecting the BBC to be going back through every program in it's archives and getting out the censoring shears to remove any mention of, or oblique reference to JS in any program they've ever made/shown.

At the same time they should be going through Dad's Army and editing out all reference to the Germans.
