Guys

Were looking for another Product Content / Community Assistant and Purchaser. Get in touch if you think you fit the bill. :)

This vacancy seems like a lot of effort for Minimum wage... MINIMUM WAGE....Mc'Donalds pay more then that.

Looking at this so wrong. Guessing your not in an IT role?

Its all about whats on your CV as experience. Im sure future potential employers would rather have someone at one of the UKs biggest computer companies rather than Mcdonalds.

I am not applying, but is the email address a typo?

Is it "atjobs@..." or should it be: "at jobs@...".

Or is that a test? :D

The starting pay you may feel is low but it would give the right person a chance to get into a growing company and who knows where it could lead you have no idea of the bonuses. Really you have to realise that in this current climate employers have no need too offer more than minimum wage someone will be greatfull for the job

Well I started at OcUK in May 2007 (purchasing), and ended up slogging it out for 6 years, left in May 2013 :)

Made some great friends along the way. :D

Is this role based at OcUK HQ or could the applicant be a remote worker?

Anyone working in the SME space will know how hard IT roles have been hit the last few years, prior to my current position I laboured for 2-3 years (mostly feeding sheep!) while hunting for another IT role.

OcUK HQ.

Everyone starts somewhere, however with bonus scheme it helps.

The actual purchasing role is not minimum wage, but salary is dependent on your experience level. If your good, can prove your great and could be a real asset then your wage could be more attractive, but the purchasing role is paid on experience as experience is everything in such a role. If you don't have experience you can still apply if you think you have what it takes. :)

I was a purchasing virgin when I started at OcUK. I was still a noob 6 years later :)

Gibbo taught me everything I know. hahahahahaha
