Journey Back to The Stage

Tbh, rack pulls aren't that exciting, 220kg is not a lot at all considering my DL pb is 200kg. And people will just say it's a bro lift and tell me to man up and do deads :p

The bar was just below my knee, which I was told was the ideal height. It certainly felt most comfortable from that position. Last week I was a bit lower which would explain why they didn't feel as good

Sounds good. I'm planning some rack pulls soon, hoping my catchers are up for some abuse on the rack.

It's a good point actually LiE, do you rack pulls from some kind of block if you can. Some cheap wood would do. People doing rack pulls with any of the non-****ed bars get a slap in our gym.

Stoodles, any thoughts on CBL?

Yea will look into it. Need a block for box squats too.
Problem is finding a box that can stand the punishment. May have to be solid wood/tree trunk xD

Couple of 2x4's and some ply wood? We used to make skate ramps out like that and they withstood a fair whack...I'm pretty sure if you put enough supports across the top it would be okay?

If possible, having layers would be useful so you can do different heights. Max height of 18".

Me and Dom were thinking of making something like this eventually.
