Jupiter Ascending (2014)

Yea it was OK as a one off experience but it certainly didn't enhance the movie, bit like 3D. I couldn't focus on the fighting at all because I was effectively on a roller coaster!

I'm not up for 4DX ether, or D-Box. Nether do anything for a real film, they are just fun "rides"
IMAX does it for me, even IMAX 3D is better to as the field of view is so much more immersive, plus the sounds seem to be a cut above a standard screen.
Watching Interstellar on IMAX has to be one of the best cinema experiences, that film is never going to cut it on a TV at home.

As for JA, it just didn't have it for me. I really wanted it to be good but it just wasn't, there was no substance to the story, no real wow factor about the discovery of the truth. It looked beautiful and stylish but had nothing underneath.

Here is some of the released Jupiter Ascending concept work:

If you were wondering why some of it seems similar to Guardians etc... it is because it is the same group of concept artists in London most of the time working on all the major movies.
