Just the same as a paper cheque, but minus the postal aspect. You still have to wait for the e-cheque to clear.

Oh, and btw, buyers like you really do make life harder.

I had a similar instance where I traded my ram with another seller on ebay.

I went and posted mine off and the seller said he would say the same that day but I never heard anything ever again.

So after a few days of waiting I realised I had been scammed when the ebay seller closed his account.

So I first tried to get his phone number by using his address but it was ex directory so managed to get his next door neighbours number and contacted them.

They confirmed the person did live next door so my next step was to get in touch with his local police.

They were very intrested in the case and confirmed the person was well known to them and went round the next day. They got back intouch with me and said they had a word with him and he promissed he would complete the deal and surprizingly enough the next day my ram that I originally sent was returned.

So I got there in the end but it was a lot of hassle.

Rightly so, you're the sort of buyer that gives decent sellers a bad name. Sending a cheque second class is ridiculous to start with, especially if you're gonna start complaining about how long hes taking to post it out.

ok i am a bad buyer in this case. but i was not too happy to open the envelope this morning and see each stick of corsair RAM wrapped in cling film and the items were in a padded envelope. he ought to have used small box to protect the sticks during shipping. lazy b'tard.
