Does anyone else have problems with the game going from 60fps down to 30fps in a matter of seconds? keeps doing it to me and when it goes to 30fps it goes a bit framey, my system spec is good its in my sig should not have any probs running this game really

Vsync on or off?

Vsync on will do this to you if your framerate cant keep upto 60 , if it's off i have no idea
 
I think vsync is off i will double check tho, what does the 60fps cap do?

I must say this is bar far one of the best games i have ever played you can pretty much do anything and the scenery is second to none beats GTA hands down, i could fly around the island all day its so realistic!

Everything looks stunning and it's so much fun! I can see lots of nights being spent on this!


Does anyone know if it's possible to attach a car / boat to a helicopter or plane and then take off?

I just turned off vsync and set aa to 4x and af to 16x getting 100fps in my speed boat amazing!!

Azza thats a mental idea but im gonna try it lol this game is frigging awsome!!!

i've seem a speedboat being tethered to a helicopter to crash into a radar station in the steam demo video.
how powerful the lift of the helicopter and the weight of the other vehicle will have a play in this.
 
I was thinking, you are in a helicopter, bad guys below you in their jeep. Jump out, grapple the heli and car together, jump back into the helicopter and take off...taking the baddies with you... :D :D

Or you could use it as easy transport solution for when you come to land some where and need a car to drive around in.
 
I tried strapping a car to the plane in the demo, but it just doesn't have the power to take off with it. It stays in the air for about a second after going off the end of the runway, then just bombs it. You can't fly in a straight line with an explosive barrel strapped to it either, it just pulls the nose upwards.

Haven't got the game yet though, so I can't try it with any bigger planes.

Haha, oddly thats exactly what I tried yesterday, I need to get this really, damn you responsible spending!

USE D3DOVERRIDER ENABLE V-SYNC AND TRIPPLE BUFFERING AND THE GAME RUNS SO INCREDEBLY MUCH BETTER.

Sorry for shouting but it seems like no one heard me the first 2 times ;)
