i'm stuck at 97% too.. not in the air field tho.. the big base between the city?!? with skyscrapers and the other part of the desert.. looked all around cant find anything.. no generators.. no sam sites.. no boxes.. nothing empty.. got tired after driving/flying/running up and down for 40 mins..
 
Yeah thats been my biggest gripe with the game so far, awesome action slowed down by boring box searches

I dont mind them too much. What is annoying me is that enemies keep randomly respawning - so I am searching for that one box and have to kill some enemies 3-4 times - annoying when ammo can be hard to find and respawn points for myself are far away. Other than that the game is great!

Ye thats my point too, Its stupid to have to pay more - I mean ppl reckon that you pay more for packaging etc inc booklets and what not.. save the planet steam charge ppl less !

Atleast then there is no waste.

Steam can't undercut retailers though as they have said they will stop selling the products - the Steam sales are how they get around this. Given how strong Steam is as a distribution platform now, I think they should just go ahead and out compete retailers.

Leave and go back later, I'm convinced some boxes aren't spawning.
 
I find jumping in a chopper and flying over slowly is an easy enough. Remember there is an indicator that tells you when you get close, Top Left of Minimap.
 
Where do you find bombs if you are not able to get any from the black market? , i have to destroy a large dish on the top of a building but i have no bombs and can't find any.

done it 3 times with 3 different choppers lol xD doesn't help.. did it with a tank and a jeep.. and then on the foot.. nothing :o
 
I just bought this purely based on playing a single 30 minute session of the demo and watching the 'No Ordinary' trailer. Downloading now :)

Not sure this game will help my hangover though :(
 
Just tried the demo, seems rather demanding on hardware. My GPU is not current any more but it can run Crysis better than it runs this game. I got 30fps in the benchmark (vsync is off) with most settings turned down or off! (30fps is acceptable as a minimum, but it was in the low 20s for half the time)

Also when you move the mouse there is a split second lag before your view moves, I don't like that. I guess this game isn't one for me :)

thats the thing.. demo is needed.. EA - fAILllzzorzz.. on making us pay for demos.. or pirate them lol

THIS. GAME. IS. AWESOME!

Played about an hour so far, then the game suddenly halved my framerate, so I quit and haven't tried again yet as I'm watching the football.

Anyway, not many games have literally made me say "wow" out loud, but this has done it a few times already. Highlight for me so far was flying a massive passenger plane. I wasn't sure if it was just for show, so I was amazed when it let me get in! I crashed it into a skyscraper by accident :p
 
It is an insanely fun game, so easy to pick up and get straight into for a couple of hours.
I just visited the scary 'Lost' type island in the far north west - hopefully theres some good missions for this area tis very cool.
I dont understand why you are limited to carrying 3 weapons though, in JC1 you could carry loads which eliminated the annoying lack of ammo I keep getting in 2
 
i just picked this up today and its quite fun, all ive done so far is go around all the military bases and take them, not sure what it does, if i go away and come back its full of enemy again lol even though its %100. ah well got a nice 4 wheeled tank thingy pretty awsome.

Bit gutted, was playing it yesterday but ive had a horrific bit of malware and virus, deleted the game, reinstalled, but it still wont work, think im going to have to format my pc to get it working!
