Black market upgrades will increase the max clip size, max total ammo and the power of each shot - definately worth it on any weapon you use. I've got the bog standard pistol upgraded to 4 star, it's ace having a huge clip, much fun!!

C4/placeable explosive is worth upgrading too, it's absolutely immense once it's at 3 star + :)
 
To all the people who say there are only 4 story missions, there are actually 7 according to the achievements, I've just done 5 and have been sent off to cause more chaos.
 
yeah it says that on the code paper as well and thats a bit odd isnt it it says games for live yet it only needs steam ??:confused:
 
I'm having a very annoying error, its starts ok and looks great, but after around 20 mins, everything freezes and it seems to minimise. A message appears saying my graphics drivers crashed and stopped responding, but its been recovered. I try and get back into the game, but all I can hear are the sound, nothing on the screen.

This has happened a few times now. I don't have problems in any other games, I've updated my graphics drivers. I have a ATI 2900xt ( yes I know its not amazing, but is fine for 1440x900).

I'm on Windows 7.

This seems to be a problem other people are having as well, when the display driver just stops responding randomly. Irritating :mad:
 
i do love this game, couldnt stand the first but this is amazing fun, i recently found the army base with the planes lol, cant fly them at all but its funny trying.

even when you mess up this game is rarely frustrating....genius
 
i was enjoying this game for a bit but now i've been playing for a few hours it seems quite hard to find enough stuff in a settlement to destroy to get 100% completion. it seems i have to destroy more stuff to unlock missions (i've only done like 1 from a base then all the bases disapeared) but its a bit anoying that a game that revolves around destroying things doesnt seem to have a fully destructive environment so im spending most of my time running around a settlement after i've killed all the enemies trying to find stuff to destroy before giving up and moving to the next settlement. does it get a bit faster eventually? or am i missing something?
 
man only jusdt started this, and it's sooo hard :(

playing on normal and trying to take over the 2nd place and keep dying, just too many guards. Any tips ?

Can i drop it down a difficulty or do i have to start over ?

Get a car/helicopter/vehicle and then drive through/drop/smash the enemies. Blow stuff up. I pretty much never use the guns.. 360 version on normal btw.

you gotta keep moving, use anything to your advantage.


I like using the winch to get higher and keep me moving about as its fast
