Just cause 3

Playing the game with an A8-7600 only. No Dedicated GPU!

It is playable but not 100% smooth. Graphics are obviously not as good as with a dedicated GPU. All settings low. Character is slow! lol

This game really is RAM hungry. I'm sitting at 0.8gb left between the game and my other programs. :(

Wow! Max ram usage I saw was around 6gb (including system etc) and that is on max settings at 1440p.

Does it instantly go to that or does it increase the more you play? I have read a few things about memory leaks and the sort

I've had it over 8Gb.

Anyone worked out how to change the FOV yet. It's doing my head in. Literally.

I cant find anything that can change fov at the moment. Even editing the launch options doesn't work.

Think its being worked on as a mod, as well as removing the intro movie. Saw it on the steam discussion board.

Granted I had several other programs running in the background but I play everything with them open so there was no closing that. No it does gradually increase, I used HWINfo to tell me the min amount of ram I had left, it wasn't pretty. I'm pretty sure my crash was due Maxing out my RAM. When some goes on offer next I'll buy 16gb.

My game has crashed once but has since been working fine. The RAM sits at 2GB usage without the game running, after playing the game for about an hour I check HWinfo and the Max physical memory used shows 6200MB (Max available 6700MB). So there's still about 500MB to spare.

I don't have much apps running in the background though (Fraps, Steam, HWinfo, Kaspersky internet security).

I think the game is VERY repetitive. It is the same thing over and over! It is still fun though. Played it quite a lot today and have a headache and a bloodshot eye because of it! I think?

Welcome to Just Cause 3.
Its literally the same from start to finish. Something every single review and pretty much most (non Extremists) bring up. And the side activities are forced on you in order to unlock things, and they're all really bad. As if interns made them.

Yes, it may be all about destruction by it really doesn't get repetitive which is great. Tbh I hardly use vehicles much more fun to parachute, glide and grapple around :D

All military bases are the same.
The AI is the same.
The enemies are the same.
Theres zero variation.

Liberating towns isnt fun or engaging not even challenging. Its the same everywhere aswell. Just a different number of Oil Tanks or Dishes you have to blow up.

Everyone knew it was going to be repetitive but it's a fun, pointless, easy to jump into game. I'm loving it :D

It's something different from every other game out at the moment.

I don't see why you bought it then if you're gonna complain about it so much. You could clearly see from gameplay and reviews etx the basics where going to be the same. It's all about how you do it.

Most games are the same. Things just develop. In this for exam you get upgrades and it changes how you do things. As Sam just said it's different to every other game at the moment. I bought this game purely for the fact it lacks realism and I can just have fun for an hour or so then move on and come back to it.
