I'm O+
I used to donate but stopped because I kept passing out after every time. Didn't matter if I'd eaten before hand or not, regardless of what I did after a few minutes I went down.
So make an appointment and put it in your diary/calendar/whatever. What's the problem?I would donate, but appointments seem impossible to make within a reasonable time, you have to make them months in advance.
I was in again today.

I drink plenty of fluids and always exercise my arm for about 10 minutes before - veins stand out and then, even if you get a trainee, (i always say yes, they've gotta learn somehow) they're usually in first time. They do it all day, every day. I'd expect them to be good.
Did you book or just turn up?Just donated for the first time. Do they usually keep you waiting around for ages before hand. Sat around for 35+ mins before being seen to. Hope it's not always like that??
Avoid giving blood in half term - busy.Did you book or just turn up?
Normally in notts i wait maybe 5-10mins then give them some of life force then im out
