I am not joking here, but you really really must be so far up your ass it must be unbearable. You don't invite some one to say a party because they forwarded a little spam?. You must be taking the **** surely?

So if you where friends with some one for say 1 or 2, and they sent you some spam you would start disown them?


What age are you? That's something i would hear coming from a 12 year old.

You said you never speak to them again. This prompted replies of disbeleif at how anyone could be so, well, I wont go there. Now suddenly you didnt actually mean that at all. What a suprise...

You need to know how people who don't care about computers operate. They will see a forwarded email. They wont read it properly, they won't bother to comprehend it and think about it, they'll just go 'oh' and forward it to their mates. Thats why they are not neccesarily stupid, merely disinterested.
 
Depending who it is, I take one of three courses of action upon receiving this sort of thing.

1) Remember to ignore anything they have to say about anything important ever again, they're quite plainly retarded.

2) Tell them if they continue to send this utter **** to my only spam free email account I will sign them up to as many gay/animal/shemale porn sites as i can be bothered to find.

3) Sign them up to porn without warning.

Funnily, not many of my friends send me stuff like this anymore. But then, most of my friends are intelligent enough to realise that 'tara and john' aren't MSN directors and the email saying 'OMG SEND THIS TO ** FIRNEDS OR WE SHUT DOWN THE SERVERS FOREVA' is probably total crap.

Personally it doesnt do much for my opinion of people when they forward this rubbish, afterall, a plain text email with spelling mistakes - being forwarded ? You do have to be a special kind of stupid - or just not at all observent to beleive it. in my opinion anyway.

No need to never speak to them again because of it, maybe if they killed one of your kids yes, but over a chain email?

some people will just skim through an email and not take much notice of spelling or grammar then pass it on, its more ignorance than stupidity

Come on guys, I'm sure Zefan didn't literally mean he'd never ever speak to any of these contacts again, no need to scrutinise his post so much.

Sounds to me like he was just emphasising the point that it annoys him, much like email forwards annoy me to no end. To the point that I've managed to nag all my friends to stop sending anymore of them to me, lol.

Anyway, surely this thread isn't about Zefan? :confused: I have to admit it does seem somewhat extreme to me but if that's how he choices to handle things then that is his business.

And I'd also like to point out questioning of Don decisions should be taken to email and not be derailing this thread.

If he wishes it to only be his business he's quite entitled to - but I would suggest that by posting it here, it becomes the 'business' of others in this thread :)

It just seems hyper-excessive. I suspected as soon as he posted it that he was exagerating for effect - something which has now shown to be the case if you read his later posts where he toned it down a bit :)

I thought ignorance was lack of knowledge not intelligence?

And so to punish someone for that would be rather odd, i don't know the detailed workings of a car engine does that make me ignorant and worthy of dissownment(sp)? :(
