Just got this in an e-mail?

I think I can probably find about 8 people in my MSN contacts who would believe this. (Silly 14 year olds can be so amusing to tease with those kind of things)

I don't think ignorance is a valid excuse to receiving an email that reads;

OMFG HI WERE FROM MSN INIT AND WREE GONNA SHUT THE SEVRERS INLESS YOU PAY MONEY AND FORWARD LOLS

and subsequently deciding it would be a good idea to send it to all of your friends.

I hate it when you get emails like that because I know people like my parents will spend time actually reading it and I'll get a call about it or something. I have educated them about spoofing and phishing sites so at least I don't have to worry about that too much. My mail provider filters spam, the folder has about 3000 messages in it everytime I look, only my inbox gets downloaded but some spam gets through, besides the viagra ones I get ridiculous ones like this:

Spam said:
your boss told you

Hire! Doing good? Email me at [email protected] only. I am good looking girl. I will show you some of my private pictures
their own passions, our agency for your their own passions, of every internal industry

Who are they targeting with this stuff and what it is meant to achieve?

I love the emails at work, pass this to 10 people and you will get a surprise, just about every time the women next to me sends it on.

"How come nothing happened I sent that to 10 people"

*Me slaps head* and tries to explain for the umptenth time.

Jump up behind her and shout so she soils herself.

Then whisper 'surprise' in her ear.
