So was this guy a nut job or what? He was seriously going to run you off the road when he knew he was doing wrong? It all sound like waay to much excitement to be sane! :eek: And now he knows where you live, albeit where you live with a very high powered weapon ;) . Even so, he obviously doesnt know when to stop...

If that had happened in the UK you would have been locked up for
1. infringing his human rights to drive as he pleased
2. having the nerve to actually expect a policeman to attend the scene of a crime
3. driving over the speed limit
and for having a firearm they would have thrown away the key.

Thanks for the story, though. You really got across the adrenalin and this should be made compulsory reading for all members under the age of 30 as an example of class posting.

Do they still have the ADC TV show in the states, or is that (as I suspect) long done? If it's still running, this sounds like a prime candidate for dumb and dumber. :D

awesome story, Mickey. i got half way through and was like "this is going to be a joke, isnt it?!"

UK version:

Nobody answers the phonecall to the police. When they do finally arrive four hours later they pay no attention whatsoever to your story, and instead inspect you car and give you a fine for having a headlight out.
The criminal is from a minority group and so you get arrested for inciting racial hatred. His extended family who all live in the same house come round, smash your windows, threaten to behead your family for insulting Mohammed and set your house on fire. Again the police do nothing.
