Just had the worst phone call of my life

This. A close friend of the family died last week from Lung cancer, we last saw her less than 6 months ago & we didn't think there was anything wrong with her. I'm gutted & so are my folks. Just unbelievable that it killed her in that time. She was less than 3 days in the hospice too. Her hubby is devastated & he's a top bloke who lived for her. :(

So chin up tank. I'm sure your mum is looking down at you right now & doesn't want you to be sad.

Thank you all for the kind words, to say this has hit me hard is an understatement, my mum has written individual letters to family and friends, I'm going to wait until my head is clearer before I read mine as it doesn't take much to set me off.

My sister is in charge of everything so all I have to do is pick up my suit etc and be ready for the limo to pick me up on the 15th of March. Their is fifty people attending the service and seventy plus attending the wake to my knowledge.
 
Sorry to hear about your loss Tank. It's good that so many people are going to her funeral - It really will be a comfort in a way to know that so many people loved her and want to show their respect for her.
