Just Installed my Corsair H80i

Depends on how you are using it. Running my 3570K @ 4.2 i can pretty much have the fans spinning low and it keeps everything nice and cool. If you're looking for a more aggressive clock, with the required voltage that it is going to need, the extra heat will mean you will need to run this higher / louder than I do. Cranked up to full whack, it can go real loud.

sounds about right wont be clocking my cpu to the max will just you the asus auto tune to fast
it has a performance mode right? which i think changes the fan speed when needed

@ BloodZeed...yeah, If I could use my pc in the garden it'd be running @ a nice cool -5 during the night :)

See below, these profiles are what you get out of the box:

The speeds you can see my fans idling at are both on Quiet.

Edit: If you want me to post anything else before you make a purchase, feel free to ask :)

you can make it pretty much any colour you like, or you can set it to change as the heat changes :)

I just like it in white, as my pc's colour scheme is black / white

I put second fan on and temp only dropped 2c. both fans run good now. I also put a bottom intake case fan to help with pushing the hot air out the top, but tbh the second fan on the H80i isn't really needed. Temps were low even with one fan.

It's purring like a kitten:D

My PC has changed since then. The only thing I can say is you really have to tuck the top wires away, It's not hard as long as you have some holes to the back of the case. I hide them in there.
