nicRob said:Would that be the "no need to worry about that, the rollers will tell all the truth, I made a drunken mistake when listing the car on ph, its a std C2 with no mods at all, nothing, there you go record is straight now. " Gemballa?
Shown as a standard C2 in PH profile..
Touching Cloth said:LoL, not the turbo's I was worried about really, it's running against "The Gembella" that puts the fear of God into me...and then after I changed my profile and said what you quoted about it being std,
Touching Cloth said:Yeah yeah, don't hussle me pal, I'm like Paul Newman to your Tom Cruisethe problem I had here is TC came to Lemans with us and has driven with us, johnny on here seen TC's green cerb with a few of the other guys 911's including a 993 RSR cup car
cheers all the same.
Gibbo said:Hi there
the Mustang is just so much more fun FOR ME to drive,
Gibbo said:Though don't get me wrong I still want to own a Porsche but will do it when I grow up a bit and have more like 40k-50k to spend on one and then I think it will be a C4S as I know how well they drive,
Gibbo said:I do know a Corvette C6 or Z06 would easily rival a Porsche as its not only been proven so many times by the press but I've been in a Corvette going round Donnington in the dry and wet. Guess what car after several gruelling laps had to yield to the older C5 Corvette due to holding us up?..... yep it was a Porsche GT2 and I tell you now the driver was not best pleased, he could not believe it an American car lapping quicker than his Porsche.

Cassius Clarke said:Hi There
not wishing to wee on anyones bonfire, i didnt read the post earlier, was just noise, anyways, had my dinner and thought id see what you actually said.
seems there is a few contradicting statements.
contradicts this
the C2 is not only quicker but also more fun to drive and faster round corners in the right hands .. .. .. .. .. so your either contradicting yourself to gain friendship or cant drive. . . . . . . C2 also feels quicker? have you actually drove one for speculative comparrison?
but by the sounds of things he also couldnt drive, mabe get one of these corvettes to one of the many track days that we go to and ill arrange somone who can drive to run circles round any C6 (and not a pro driver, jus some guy I know down the road who can handle his GT2 and not a city type who bought it cos they cost more than a turbo)
I know you mention the corvette thing cos you know the 911 is the car you want (im not trying to have a dig, its apparent by your previous comments) but why mention another car? this is like me saying my mate with the carrera GT, you know, that one day ill be buying from him, well that would destroy any corvette or mustang.. .. .. its just not relevant.
check Evo mag for comparrison on the C4 -C2 thing
from memory a std C2 is 0-60 in 4.2 secs, a C4 is 5.1.
0-130 for a C2 is 17 secs, a C4 is somthing like 24 secs . . . . . .
I think youve only experienced the wrong car gibbo, I do hope it wasnt a tip aswell!!!!!

Gibbo said:Do they do a C2S?]

might look like a mistake on autocar and in the back of the evo mag aswell as all the other publications i have seen but I assure you (as a tip if your thinking of buying one) the 3.4's where a lot faster than the 3.6 in std form
and if you want one of those you will pick up a 50k mile one for about 22k at the moment with OPC warranty (manufacturers warranty so no need to worry)

Cassius Clarke said:lesson two in the OCuK official usable power tutorial, nope its not, goes well fast too but on corners suffers from major understeer.
im yet to see a FWD car over 250bhp to be "usable" through corners without cornering difficulties.
The_Dark_Side said:it might be just me but what i've found is a lot of members regurgitating the opinions of the more experienced/technical members (Dogbreath,Simon,Lopez and a few dozen more i could name), without actually knowing why that opinion exists.

Merc control arm front end, Merc 5 link rear end, shorter wheelbase than the current Charger. It won't exactly be a BMW M5 handling-wise, but it won't fall off the road as soon as it needs to change direction.Tdh1987 said:I hate American muscle cars with a passion, but that looks stunning!

Also lastly do you have any more confirmed specifications m8?
