Perhaps I need to listen to more emo?
nah, tbh if your not emo enough already theres no hope
maybe we could have some of the more emo members wax lyrical about their lives to you for a bit
then you'ed be a punk kinda guy

Its still intriguing isnt it though. People say, you should never have to see something like that. To be frankly honest, it was the OP that decided he wanted to. He made the decision to "have a gander" at the accident scene, which is the fascinating part, the human curiosity.

What could have possibly been the best thing to come from looking at the accident scene?

But i know one things for sure, i would have been trying to see as well, along with many others.

My thoughts go out to the kid and family though, terrible accident.

My pain and sadness is more sad and pain...you get the picture.

I believe you do need to, it will help you wallow more, which is evidently the done thing.

Praying isn't going to help the child, only make you feel better about it.

I actually agree with that comment yet it is such a sad thing. Did you see the article in The Sun newspaper today about a 6 year old girl who sat in the road trying to be run over because she was being bullied so badly?

Sorry i dont follow you... waiting for someone to point out your sig is against the rules everyone else obides by? Is that what you meant? Why the cryptic response?

Are people here suggesting that if they saw a kid being hit by a car that they'd not be shocked / feel awful etc ?

Im suggesting not looking at accident scenes..

No I don't think anyone is suggesting that, certainly not me.

No, but you are suggesting that you are a bit insensitive and posted to 'score points' on the OP for some reason.

I wasn't trying to score points off anyone. Neither was I even trying to make a point as such...

Without wanting to open a writhing can of worms, nearly 5 million children under five die in Africa every year, mostly from avoidable causes. Praying isn't going to do those poor sods any good, as much as it will the kid in the OP. Praying will allow people to pretend that they're helping, but all it does is help assuage any feelings of guilt/helplessness/fear they might have.

I hope the child is ok and gets better soon.

I'd like you to know I think that comment is pathetic.
Why is it a pathetic comment? I agree with what he said 100%, if someone has a different view to me I am not going to call them pathetic for it. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, remember that.
