Sounds... great.
And I'm merely posting my opinion. I know damn well people buy things without using any common sense at all - do you think buying a 5 Series at 22 is even remotely sensible? Of course not, but everyone seems to forget this. It's far easier to pretend I think something it's blatantly obvious to anyone who reads Motors is not true, becuase it suits your point of view, right?
So what? He's just spent £15,000 - if the opinion of some bloke on a forum after he's done that narks him then was he totally happy with his purchase in the first place? If he's happy with his purchase he won't care what somebody like myself thinks about his car.
Mmmmm, more inaccurate sweeping generalisations. The only Citroen I ever recommend is the Xsara, and even then only becuase 1 in 4 posts appears to be something like 'Gonna buy a 306, what alternatives are there'. Fords? Focus and Mondeo, wow, thats a huge amount. Infact I've even stated on numerous occasions I'd never have a Focus myself but yet again you ignore this in your 'OMG HE THINKS EVERYONE IS LIKE HIM' tirade.
I think I've probably had a go at more BMW's than I've ever recommended
And people like Alfa Romeo, selling unreliable cars for decades becuase 'they are different' (ie, most people are not daft enough to buy em) are very gratefu
