*** Justice League Thread ***

Godfather 2 is is 3.5 hours and I don't think many people would say it's a poorly told story (there's even a ~7 hour version of 1&2 made into one film)

As long as it doesn't feel padded out for no reason and just long for long lengths sake then it should be ok. A good story will keep you drawn in for that length of time

Snyders "The Watchmen" Ultimate Cut is a 3.5hr film that engrossed me so much I didn't notice the time fly-by but it's rare to get a long film that draws you in that much nowadays TBH.

Justice League will be made available worldwide in all markets day and date with the US on Thursday, March 18 (with the exception of China, France and Japan, where the release dates are TBD

I'm very worried that when they show it on HBO Max that it's be stuck on the 4:3 ratio, that would be a major shot in their own foot.
It's technically not 4:3.

The movie was completely shot on imax cameras and Snyder wanted that to be how the film was shown. You get more picture rather than cutting bits off, formatting it to 16:9.

I do feel however that on a large cinema screen the imax ratio of 1:66.1 worls great but not so much on home TV.

I cant wait to see it. Apparently it has an international release date but as far as i am aware there is no way to watch it legally in the UK unless you use a VPN. I will probably watch it on my ship with my parrot while scratching my peg leg and drinking rum and purchase on 4K BR...

They have confirmed it is releasing internationally on the 18th but doesn't seem to be any confirmation of how to watch it yet. Whether its VOD purchase. On linear HBO channels or other options.
