Thing's are starting to get tough so I now need to become inventive. Mix thing's up make things a little more exciting.

sugar free jelly, PPS diet protein and 30g almonds - meal 2 :) it's like liquid gold.

I write this, as i have just had a MAJOR tantrum like a 5year old stomping his feet.

I spoke with my coach last week, and he mentioned a cheat meal. In expectation It was looking likely, all week i have been building up to today- excited. Yes!!! at the moment that how sad my life has become when competition dieting is in full swing.

Only to be told no, this morning! ( fair point 3, weeks out and im simply not lean enough to have it)


There was no cheat meal and i need to stick to the plan. I took it on the chin this morning and went off to the gym. Come tonight, MASSIVE craving's and the other half expected a cheat meal. That's the thing, dieting like this does only affect you as individual it affects the people around you. She goes through it when i am on a low day and grumpy and when i say no, we cant go out anywhere because my food plan dictates.

So.... after the massive hissy fit, and though of just going **** it i am having one, i just thought i have come this far what's another 3 weeks right, (said with gritted teeth) is nothing major in the grand scheme of things. Bare in mind i have only had 3 cheat meals since January 31st, so thing's are starting to grate.

The high's and lows ....

Thank you, back on the wagon this morning although it's a low day (zero carbs) and I have a training session.

how do you make that? not come out lumpy and weird on the top? Would it work with normal protein?

Normal whey protein wont get as thick, you will need to use casein. I usually make something different each night from casein just to mix things up.

simply add 2 scoops to a boil and whisk with a splash of water, just add water as required until an angel delight texture.

Another good one for casein is get a mug and add your scoops. Simply add water and stir = hot chocolate before bed. It's really nice as it has same texture and of course the chocolate taste.

or as above mix in a bowl and stick the bowl in the freezer for 30 minutes before eating = ice-cream, comes out same texture as well.


I am just trying to reinvent the wheel as much as possible at the moment to get over the monuments of this diet. Meal two on high carb day is 2 banana's, 4 rice cakes & protein shake.


I am thinking about a banana cake at the moment with crushed rice cakes on top as crumble at the moment.

or freezing the mixture and making mini like truffles (working progress)

So I did something I said I would never do, in all the 3 years training no matter what shoot I had.

I kind of got forced into it and I hate it already..... itchy and just feel's wrong :)









I shaved my legs... my quads granted look better and can see the sweep but meh!!!

Update:

With out sounding like a big girl, I have been having a real rough time of it. Dieting for this long has really, really taken it's toll on me both physically and mentally.

At the moment I am going to the gym because I feel like I have to as opposing to want to be there. When there I am merely going through the motions and not smashing every session - fact!

Last night, after another "teenage" tantrum and mood swing I had had enough I phoned my coach to say **** it I can't do this anymore. Not only is this affecting my life, its affecting others including the other half I have ZERO libido - diet has shot that to bit's.

Granted this is not the first time I have had to diet to this level but never ever for this long, its usually 6 - 10 weeks maximum. I have been dieting for 16 weeks now and still have another 18 days to the shoot and another month to bodypower.

Anyway after being told to man the **** up by my coach I have been given 2 high carb days with a 25% increase day 1 and a cheat meal day 2 (tomorrow) I am a little concerned about having the cheat meal this close to a big shoot, but I need to raise my serotonin levels, spike insulin and it MIGHT just actually benefit me.

Now the question is, what do I have for my cheat meal. I have been told I need to make sure I have something really sweet. I have been told a box of 12 Krispy Kreme is ideal for the desert element but what for the main!

cheers for support guys, I was thinking.

5 mcflurries with 2 hot apple pie's and box of krispy kreme as cheat. That would be the meal. If I have main I will be looking at stupid stuff full of MSG :D
 
Morba, you understand this is all in the aid of science to help me look leaner ;) the 12 KK is a must :o

so I am told, ill be bloated for about 5 days with all that sugar going on
 
The double dozen has been purchased. Twelve assorted and twelve glazed, I suspect a massive sugar rush when I combined the glazed with 3 tubs of Mcflurry.

I find it hard to believe this is going to actually make me leaner but, hey all in the aid of science.

I eat so much it hurt, not an enjoyable experience. But I look really full, im holding a lot of water weight and feel bloated to high hell.

few days, this should go and I WILL look lean ;)

plus I feel great :)

Your coach sounds awesome, i wish i had someone like that in my life, to help with my training. Ive got the motivation to train hard, and i can eat boring food day in day out. But i just dont have the knowledge and the internet is very hard to fins true facts and bro science:(

Thank you, but nothing out of the ordinary any Joe blog's can achieve. It's simply consistency, the cheat meal was just a mental thing more than anything plus when I am not shooting ill have 1 -2 cheat meals a week where it be restaurant or takeaway.

I really enjoy reading your logs Kai, is there anyone else on here thats worth a read whos training like a bodybuilder or who actually wants to be one.

LiE is worth a read - guy is a monster.

Kai, take a better pic of your back, it doesn't do it justice :)

As a fitness model, ;) I cant pose for toffee. I usually just turn up for shoots and get thrown around like a ragdoll in all shape's how they want!

I am not really one for crap food, but the guys on the 100 day plan have been slowly building up a treat box. Anytime they want something or crave they put in a box to eat after the show and photo-shoot.

Might be just me but i actually find that completely gross lol Its just totally unaesthetic imo. The 'beauty'? of a male lean physique is in the look of being powerful and toned. Its about the apollon ideal of broad shoulders, thick appendages and good symmetry.

This guy just looks like a try hard homo who cant afford food.


He is actually in good shape, it's hard to judge on pictures alone. For example if you stood next to him, you could tell he hit's the gym.

Unlike me apart from my arms, if I was wearing a baggy t-shirt you would have zero idea!

Also he has 20+kg on me god knows what you think of my symmetry and shape then :o
 
Wow Lie, those traps are epic, along with huuuuge! chest.

So 10 days out from the shoot, the man behind the plan's has just posted his transformation, its on the 90th day so he still has a bit of time for water loading, carb manipulation for the shoot but I think! im in trouble....

This is one amazing transformation for such a short period of time. Either way I take my hat off to him.

However, the biggest shock for me is an instrgram pic I found of one of the other boy's he done a sneaky back snap. I am not 100% sure on the time-frame but I would say this was around 25-30 days ago.
