Kebabs - North/South Difference?

I have never had a kebab down south, however have ahd many kebabs in leeds/middlesbrough/newcastle, and can say that they are dirty as hell, so to think that the ones down london are worse, is just.. :(

Who on here enjoys kebab meat equally as much when sober as when under the influence of alcohol?
I do indeed enjoy it when sober and have bought it many times when sober but you are aware of how disgustingly fatty and bad for you it is, though still polish it off and often feel quite sick afterwards.
when drunk I am oblivious to this fact and don't care in any case and never feel sick afterwards, usually feel like seconds!haha.

Then you have no tastebuds.

I can handle people claiming no difference between kebabs. There is no doubt in the slightest that the best fish and chips comes from the North. Specifically the North East coast.

The best fish & chips come from Scotland. End of :)

Same, as long as you know a good kebab place. some places are disgusting when sober, actually when drunk as well.

Too true. Though I'll eat nearly anything when drunk TBH. Some of the kebab places i've bought from before whilst hammerred, I'm amazed I have never suffered any Really bad food poisoning. I've literally waited in the shop whils't the 'shady' looking bloke has switched on the kebab meat rotator/cooker thing in-order to the meat to heat up from stone cold. Man the meat looks disgusting when cold, encrusted with white lard. Tasted great with Chili sauce and mayo on mind. haha.

When I was at one of the OcUK liverpool meets I discovered to my drunken horror that people up north don't even know what burger sauce is :(
Wrong'uns

Hold the phone!

You went on a night out and didn't take your own burger sauce with you??

There's even those 'Lynx Bullets' equivalent sized things full of burger sauce which you take with you. (..maybe I just dreamt it).

I'm a big massive fan of Kebabs, but unfortunately i havent had one in this country that even compares to the ones available in Turkey or Greece.

The very best kebab i ever tasted was from a little shop in Utrecht in Holland....it was absolutely amazing.

Never had a kebab in/with a naan bread, but never say never i say.
