lol it's so funny how quickly people move on, I just picture the SJW Twittersphere as this big gang of headless chickens...

"Harry and Megan baby royal family racist is trending super hot right now. I'm appalled, guys you all need to be ashamed and check your privilege, I'm so anti-racist"

"Oh hang on guys news just in Women violence, violence against women go go. I am personally so deeply moved by Sarah's story, this violence needs to end I am such a big advocate of women's rights"

"Wait wait moving on... Asians, err, hate against asians - yep I'm glad this has come to light because I for many years have been trying to raise awareness of this and am a huge advocate and ally to asians"

But people lap it up, of course...

That's because 'Social Justice' is that broad by design. It's not people picking philosophical or political opinions based on their prevalence at the time, it's just that most of it falls under one moralistic umbrella. That's just how it works unless you're some kind of android. I'd imagine there's very few people who think racism is wrong but gender-based violence isn't...

Talk about? I want my statuses and instagram stories to get maximum likes, and I will latch onto anything to get them. Once a topic has been milked dry for internet karma or something better comes along I will forget about it and never mention it again

It partly is though, certain causes become the prominent talked about narrative for a bit and people focus on them... until recently it was OK to be woke and make some dubious statements about Asians - if you see Twitter there was a prominent anti-racist school board person for example - she had been instrumental in messing around with school systems that plenty of Asian kids benefited from, tweeting some dubious things about Asians etc.. it has only now become a "cancellable" offence:

There was also the case of the Teen Vogue editor - her role was hanging in the balance because of some old racist tweets about Asians, she's a black woman so not automatically cancelled but once the recent mass shooting happened things tipped against her. Ironically the Asian employee who backed cancelling her was found to have tweeted the n-word, also a cancellable offence these days among the woke:

Likewise, this comedian/comedy writer has recently been piled on on twitter for old "racist" jokes about Asians... she's rather woke and has been quite supportive of cancel culture herself but is now trying to avoid cancellation herself:

I think Woke is the new racism for the 21 century.

People should be all treated the same regardless of their skin colour, gender, religion or anything else.

Woke seems to be about promoting one ethnic group above others and to me that is racism and discrimination.

You have got that the wrong way around.

Anti woke is the new racism or at least the new bigotry, because being 'woke' is all the things you said people should treated the same is about. Woke doesnt do just one ethnic or one minority group it does many.

Racism is at the end of the day just another bigotry.

Woke is a cult for broken humans desperately seeking a raison d'être. They have a supply and demand problem when it comes to their "isms", hence the constant bar-lowering and redefining it into existence.
