What did you replace/compare it to?

My 570. I mainly play Bf3 so I wanted a decent margin of improvement to warrant the price. Needless to say it wasn't good enough (for my liking), so I'm happy enough with my 570 until something better comes along :)

i got a 480GTX laying in a storage unit that i've hardly used and cant get access to(arrrgh!) so i wont be buying anything extravegant for a couple of years,i want to get my moneys worth out of the 480GTX and im sure it will be good for a few years :)

Perfectly happy with the performance my GTX480 gives me :) It certainly maxes out any current game at my native resolution. Can't see that situation changing until the next gen of consoles appear (seeing as 99% of PC games are ports these days).

I'll also be keeping my 480 until i can't stand the burning pocket (hopefully in 3 years). but if i did upgrade to kepler from it i know i will ultimately regret the outlay!

lol you're not on any team, you're just in a different century ;)
says the man with a 4870X2 :o

That just gave me a mental image of a steampunk themed NVIDIA graphics card... In a windowed Steampunk themed case... dannnggg... I want that so bad now.

To be honest - Ive been a ati fan for awhile ... but not liking this release that much - thought speeds would be a bit more and price be a bit cheaper.

So its on to kep... errr ya nvda one. I 'upgraded' from a 5770 to a 6850 at christmas (cheap deal) and am ok atm ... but I have some $ set aside for a nice monitor and I know Ill need something to push it.
