Killer Instinct DX12 benchmarks

or nvidia know dx12 is a waste of time and just a sales pitch for the other side ;)

i haven't seen one decent title listed for dx12 yet.those benchmarks are pretty hilarious.

If all the already released games with DX12 aren't descent, wait then for TW Warhammer.

All TW games were used all those years as benchmarks from all famous websites.
Lets see how the NV will perform then :D

Seems like AMD only do well in situations where fps is so low for both camps, it makes no difference, or fps is so high for both camps, it still doesn't make any difference.

Just wanted to throw a little green into all the red ***** being squirted around in this thread.

So what you're trying to say, while having a pop at AMD, is that them winning doesn't matter because they are only faster when frame rate is low, or high....... some people just call that faster.

I am sorry but doesn't this just mean its going to be even worse with DX12 console ports for us gamers?

If a fighting game looks this mediocre and only runs at 100fps then we are going to be doomed when an actual dx12 game worth playing comes out :(

LOL :)

AMD vs Nvidia: R9 290X is Better Than GTX 980 Ti SLI for Killer Instinct DX12?

"GTX 980 Ti is Nvidia’s current flagship beast that can handle every game at ultra settings without breaking a sweat. However, over the past few months AMD has been blowing Nvidia cards out of the water and the rape continues as we look at some latest benchmarks for Killer Instinct using DX12."

Who writes for that site? He must be about 6.

Mr or should I say Master Mahmood needs to gtfu.

Dont jump at people so fast when you dont fully understand yourself young skywalker.

Windows 10 store games are locked to the refresh rate not a hard locked frame rate. so 60hz = 60fps 144hz = 144fps
In May MS will be removing this feature.

So the benchmark in this thread is correct. Even In QB AMD is smashing Nvidia and thats also using both vendors Game Ready Drivers.

Here you go, you really don't fully understand yourself!

GameGPU used ASUS PQ321QE monitor in benchmark that did not supported 144Hz refresh rate, ASUS PQ321QE supported up to maximum 60Hz supposed to be what you told me 60hz = 60fps so that mean the game refresh rate is broke in V1.0. Latest V1.0.4 fixed it but frame always locked at 60fps, never dropped below 60fps. I been played Quantum Break over the last few days got between 30-45 fps but had terrible shuttering in some places.

Cant imagined play Killer Instinct at 144Hz - 144 fps felt like sonic hedgehog, after watched that youtube clip twice gave me bad headache and motion sickness, so very wrong to have 144 fps as it was bloody too fast for a street fighter type game. Glad developer now locked it at 60 fps in V1.0.4 to stop people get headaches, motion sickness or seizures.

Edit: Surprised to see no Street Fighter V thread in this section.

Street Fighter V is hard locked 60fps game, Fury X and GTX 980 Ti had same performance as Radeon 7950 and GTX 670. The same thing will happen to Killer Instinct if GameGPU will retest it used latest game patch and Fury X running properly will see nearly all cards run at 60 fps.

One things for sure, considering it's free, and the PC games sub fair loves a bit of free gaming, going by the non appearance of a 'Killer Instinct' thread in the PC games sub....

MS's Windows game marketing is more **** than AMD's, that's a win right there for AMD!:p

I always find it suspicious when the fury cards and especially the 390 cards are missing from benchmarks :D

When the 290X is so close to the 980Ti, why make people cry more?
Show some sympathy to their suffering that even the 280X beats the 970. Dont put salt to their wounds.

And do not mention that the 7970 is almost as fast as the Titan and faster than the 780. They are going to jump from the cliffs.

It's a win win situation for AMD users who bought any GCN card. Even the old 7000 series are kicking backside in the latest DX12 games which means the driver optimisation has filtered through to all GCN based gpu's regardless of age. With Polaris and Vega also being based on GCN it bodes well for the future even if you still have a 7950.

I have a 7950...:D

I'm just saying what I see. I honestly have no bias here, though it's always fun to take a pop at things from time to time :D.

I wouldn't have bought nvidia cards if I thought AMD were doing a better job, which for me they weren't when the 980ti and Fury X were out. I don't like spending almost £600 on GPU if it's not as good as competing product. All these people getting hyped up over AMD's wins recently are the ones who are biased. Personally I don't see any victory in getting better performance after almost a full year of waiting, in a few obscure games, that are only available from the monstrosity that is Windows 10 app store.

I genuinely have no issues with AMD, I absolutely loved their cards back when I had my HD 5870, had zero issues with their drivers (despite everyone slating them) and would go back to using them if they provided better overall performance than nvidia. Unfortunately, I just don't think that has happened yet.

I paid a fair bit for my 980ti which I bought on release, but it was totally worth every penny. Rock solid performance and zero stability or driver issues, and all this from day one. If it was anything less, trust me, I would start slating them just like any other substandard product. I'm not in the business of trying to justify my purchases either. Just as an example, I recently built a Z170 and 6700K system but I have no issues in saying that it was a waste of money coming from a 2700k, performance wise.

Nice to see my 280x beating old titan in yet another game :)

Can't wait to get the game looks really good im big fan of fighting games just need faster internet before I upgrade to windows 10 don't fancy downloading all my games again with 444kbs

I agree. What get's me is they take other sites work and give their opinion, nothing else. For opinions we have forums, not article section. Who cares what the author of that article thinks about other websites benchmarks :/

MS marketing is countermarketing to repel people from getting in PC gaming. I haven't seen such self destruction from AMD.

So, you are saying that unbiased people buy their £600 GPU for 2 months and then move on to the next one?
Who would have thought that buying GPU for a long long period of time to last is called biased and silly.
What did you get buying fury x when they released? Perfectly high FPS to enjoy any game in the market with a thought that it will only get much better, much much better. Yeah, that's just silly of people
