Killing a fox?

I saw

2 foxes last year.
One fell to my hmr at 65 yards the other had its face blown off by my semi auto shotgun at 15 yards with heavy number 3 carts, it came in hot to the caller.
And before any of you slack jawed city faggots cry, it was vermin control on farm land.

I'm normally pro-life for every living organism .... until it kills my bunny. I'd stomp that fox into a bloody pulp if I was you.

Buy an old airbag from a car, bury it slightly underground, place some rabbit on top, detonate when fox is present.

stop being a wimp - its not harming you when you are in the house - just leave it why kill or injure Gods creation! call the rspca but if you want to get rid of it simple - just dont put any food in your greden and tell your neighbours aswell - it may kill their cat so they must not leave food out also i live in manchester and they are always coming down my road and in my garden - just dont attract them with food and they will go elsewhere!!!!

so is a human by killing it. we are just a more clever predatory animal

NO
this is not true the definition of a predator is "any organism that exists by preying upon other organisms"

i dont know if you know but we do not prey upon other animals especially foxes - if we did then how are vegetarians still alive?!!!

;p

Er, we do prey upon other animals, just through a social system. And plants are organisms too, so veggies are predators too!

Mustard up the cat food and any pets you have in your garden...problem solved.

This will just result in the Fox having a hairy tongue, Why would you do this ?

they'll drag off a small lamb if it's mum isn't protecting it..
 No real problem then. :p

They don't pose any threat on our farm, but their numbers aren't great.

Badgers are more of a pain

What do they drag off then ?

If I was you I would contact the Anti fox police, They will trace his Reg number & kill him for you.

Foxes are not lovely. they are evil and need to be disposed of :)

If i had a rifle I would have had a fox kill by now. Cant really get close enough with the 12 bore :(

Naive and ironic.

Op just get an electric fence, stops cats, foxes and everything else getting in.

Off topic thread is off topic.

Anyways, on the original post, the RSPCA will relocate it for you.

If you want to capture it yourself, then I suggest you consult the DEFRA guidelines on snare use first at - http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-pets/wildlife/management/documents/snares-cop.pdf .

Alternatively, if your land is suitable, a friend with a shotgun or suitable firearm may be able to eliminate it for you.

What you do, do NOT approach a trapped or injured fox. They have a hell of a bite, and an even more impressive set of bacteria in their mouths. Just remember to respect them.
