Exactly :)

I know it's a new game, but what is new about it, ie every year there is a new COD game but it's basically a reskin of the old game. So in effect paying full price for a map pack.

Ignore me I'm getting cynical in my old age ;) :D

To be honest it does look like more of the same to me.

That said, new players, maps, monsters and starting 'fresh' would probably be enough to drag me back to KF for a few hours.
 
Weirdly enough, I tried to get into Left 4 Dead but couldn't find it enjoyable at all. Killing Floor rinsed Valves option for me personally, Any more news on it?

I enjoyed, Killing Floor but mainly played it with randoms doing a Rambo impression :D

So definitely agree that to get most from game need to play with like minded Overclockers ;)
 
It's certainly better when you get a team of people who you know, and can actually co-ordinate with, but it's not too bad (KF original) as long as you get randoms who actually play something like according to what their class should do!

Nothing worse than having 2 sharpshooters on your team and getting FP's causing you to waste all your ammo, or killing you when they're busy pistol-ing clots to death :( :p

Saying that, it's been a while since I've bought anything day-1 and so given the amount of extras and things they'll end up piling into this, I reckon it's a pretty safe bet to grab on release and enjoy!

There's nothing wrong with more of the same when it comes to killing floor, for me a graphical update with some new levels is the sort of thing it needs, as it's all about the game play mechanics.

I know I'll be getting it on release, or Pre-ordering if they do them.
 
I enjoyed those servers where you could constantly level up and upgrade items.

Forgot what they were called now this was about 5 years ago.
