Killzone 2 - Enter The Killzone

just had a quick blast on mp, had no idea what was going on but it was fun :D

input lag and motion blur needs to be removed asap, most god awful stupid decisions ever made. but completely unnecessary and adds nothing to the game.
 
Wow, Killzone 2 has killed my PS3 :(. I keep getting error messages no matter what game disc I try and load. Also, there seems to be some sort of corruption with the actual disk display (Killzone 2 writing gets cut off). Trying a last ditch attempt of restoring the PS3.

Error code: 80010514

Not sure what to do next, as I think it may be out of warranty, and do not have shop receit!

I had exactly the same thing last night. What spec PS3 do you have - mine is an original 60GB.
 
Accidental turned the game off whilst it was saving something... I'm an idiot.

Oh well, started again on Vet. Think I might mission a fair bit this evening and then hit some multiplayer.

40Gb! Bit weird, I've also had my PS3 cut out to static (like you get when an aerial isn't working) twice for about a second then it went back to normal, once on Killzone and once on SF IV.

Hope it ain't gonna die. :eek:

I don't know why people have such a problem with motion blur, I personally love it in games, it gives them a cinematic feel. Motion Blur is used in pretty much every CGI film made, and you don't see people moaning about it. It's an accepted and standard effect in cinematic computer graphics, and I'm glad it's made it's way into gaming.

I agree about the input lag, but like I said before, it doesn't take long to get used to and doesn't really bother me now.

Sadly, I've still not even played my copy yet.

Picked it up yesterday on my lunch break from work. From work I was straight down a cave, got very muddy and wet. Got home at 0100. Now I'm sat at work, aching, covered in scratches and bruises and wishing I was in bed playing KZ2. :(

Still, 1700 is only 7 and a half hours away...

/edit - AND I'm in two minds whether to do the SP first or to jump straight into MP.... I did LOVE the beta...

I am not sure to be honest, but I have a PS3 and had a Sony S3000 LCD-TV and was experiencing exactly the same problems as was listed above. It would only happen every so often (GTA4 mainly) but it really started to annoy me.

I spoke to Sony directly and also to a Sony Centre and they had no idea about it. I have read product reviews on retailers web-sites and it seems to be a bug present on certain models of Sony TV's.

Royal Mail delivered it this morn, i've played through the first few SP 'levels', enjoying it so far. May start again on Vet though.

Get 10002 error when trying MP :(
