Killzone 2 - Enter The Killzone

very good game, got it yesterday and completed it too, short game but good, i havent bother trying mp scine eveyone having problem. anyone know what the patch do?
 
supposed to have fixed the problem ppl were having getting online initially as well.

i havent noticed any motion blur in MP at all. Input lag i dno...

What does my head in is that you cant see much on the screen because the viewable area is filled by a map and kills list on the left - i wish we could remove or at least reduce their size. Also the gunfire doesnt sound right... i mean i could be in a building and im hearing gunfire everywhere so i think bugger gunfight near me...but no its the other side of the map. It just doesnt sound right (albeit im comparing this to how bf2142 does it) Basically im used to using sound to help me determine where the enemy is etc but that doesnt seem to work so well...or its different hrmm.
 
Icing on the cake: Just discovered you can play custom soundtracks when in MP games! Just access the xmb and select your music from the PS3.
 
Can I just ask, i've never played Killzone before and i'm thinking about buying Killzone 2. Do I need to play the 1st one first, is Killzone 2 a continuation of a story for example.

haha whats stupid is that they PUT IT IN PURPOSELY thinking it was a good idea.

you can deny it all you want but its there, it may not be 'input lag' as such, i know its just real slow ass acceleration to give it a weighty feel but the end result is that it feels like input lag. its completely stupid in mp, i managed to overlook it sp as you get all the time in the world to aim but it was annoying as hell in mp.
 
Enjoying the single player.

Not so sure on the MP just can not get into multiplayer games on a console.
 
Well journey'd off to town yesterday to pick this up and ended up getting a Hori Fighting Stick 3 instead!

But my partner came home tonight and she bought me it instead. :D
Hopefully get on tonight at some point before the beers kick in.
 
I get the static thing on my Sony tv too.

I've only ever had it with Grid whereby the audio goes completely from the game and is replaced by 'painful to the head' white-noise. The game starts to chug along at low FPS.

Sometimes it goes back to normal within seconds and sometimes it doesn't.

No idea what's at fault.

Are points only awarded on round completion? Had to exit a round in which I was doing really well in as my flatmate had a problem with his PC and i've not as of yet received any reward for my server topping antics.
 
I have a query the revival ribbons, its says 5 revivals, so say if you do 10 revivals in 1 game would you recieve 2 ribbons? only need 4 more ribbons for the 8
 
Quick question:

Are the menus ment to be jumping around and have, what i can describe as a 'scan' line going down then screen every now and again :s?
