I honestly have no idea where you lot are getting this steelbook version from, I've found it in one place and it's hardly what I'd consider a popular source where the majority buy their games from. Neither of the big 2 I can see are selling this version

Been Xbox Livin' it for years but got a PS3 yesterday almost entirely due to this game lol. Must say though, I am so impressed with the PS3 already. I am also very impressed by the PSN. It actually seems more reliable than Live.

lol cool. I'm playing a heck of a lot of LBP atm so if anyone plays that lots def add me. I really want to do some proper co-op with headsets in it. Such a great game. Was on earlier with strangers just hitting the user content and I don't think I've been so immersed in a game before - I was lost in the lil' world lol.

Wow FFX! One of my fav games. I got the 80gb model PS3 though so can't play it as no backwards compatibility. Still have the old PS2 though.
Well, I also just saw that Bravo Special! It's got me even more primed for the game. One thing that really struck me was the animation. It all just looked so solid and polished - CoD4 style.
Killzone 2 has a special animations system, especially for deaths - it's a dynamic mix of physics and pre-set sequences, depending on where you hit them. Looks fantastic. CoD4 hasn't got anything to write home about though.
I think that when people finally play the game, they will start thinking 'why on earth did I even compare this to CoD4' in terms of sound, animation and graphics.
That's something i've wanted for years.
Perhaps we'll finally get something out does GE/PD in terms of hit reaction. It's only been 12 years! *looks at every fps released since 1997*
