Killzone 2 - Enter The Killzone

I dont normally go for limited editions/tin boxes because it looks out of place in my collection (YES im that anal! :p) but it does look very purdy indeed.

Watched the intro which is pretty epic! Just about to do a bit of skirmish.

multiplayer before single player? That's not right lol. I can't play a game without doing the single player first, unless its a multiplayer only game.
 
mines not turning up today i dont think, i ordered before 5.30 last night which was the cut off time for next day dispatches but i just received a txt saying the game would has been dispatched today but then the royal mail van has just turned up and delivered a box, unless the walking posty has it on him instead, should imagine he might actually cos its just most likely in a packet. Hopefully!"

Sounds like you wont be getting it today im afraid mate!

And yeah multiplayer comes first for me in FPS's :D Still struggling with the controls. The movement just doesnt seem natural, but then again that's what i thought about COD4 when i first played that.

Damn helpful that you can play skirmishes with upto 15 other bots, which i have to say im very impressed with!

for the best then really, as im getting my arse kicked on sf4, i've only got up to zangief but he keeps doing these bloody body slam moves on me!!

need more practice!
 
mine was despatfched yesterday but no sign of it yet... probs be here by tomorrow. i doubt id have enough time to play it any time soon >.<
 
playing a bit of the SP :D

Intro movie and music very very impressive. Cant get more EPIC than that - feels like you are in the middle of a warzone.

Environments - varies from narrow corridors to wide open space nice mix.

Combat is hardish lol - but doable. Sometimes i will put a load into their body and they just scream, wobble for a bit then shoot right back at ya.

Loads of ammo and nades so i just chuck em out everywhere.

Prefer the default weapon M98 i think so far - easier to aim when zoomed in.

btw can you pick nades up?

edit: i like you can shoot through some cover e.g. stone pillars :)


fav gun is the sta smg - really fast rate of fire compared to the default m98 and the helghast default

SMG is a really good gun, especially in MP, almost seems a little overpowered seeing as its just as powerful as an assault rifle, just aiming is really easy.

PS. Can't connect to KZ2 server at the moment either :(
 
You get a real nice gun later on :)

I've just checked my stats and I've been playing SP for 5h38m and I only have 38% completion looks like a pretty long game.
