Hey dood, hoping to be spending a bit more time on kz3, at least once I get my damned email from Sony so I change my passy. Things have been a tad highly strung here, probs I told you I had at work have gotten quite bad and may be heading down a legal route... Fun times ahoy :/
 
Want to get back into KZ3, but unfortunately working away from home atm :(

Maybe next weekend...
 
Sorry I never really got around to playing this, final report for uni and project, then PSN down and exams now. Ill be on after my exams are finished (after the 27th).

same for me at the moment. Due to PSN going down when it did its now right in the middle of my exam period but I'll be definitely up for some games on some nights to come and anytime after the 6th june.

Btw for the list, I dont have a headset yet and I have no class preference yet either lol

i will add you to the list it might be worth you trying bot mode to see which gus and load outs you like before you start opening points up on mp .
some guns i dont get on with like the pulse fire assault rifle and thats 3 points wish i would have opened something else at the time :(
played it a lot so not many more guns and add ons to open now just need to get the game back off my bud only lent it him friday so he will be gutted .
 
Sorry to interrupt and with this being a long thread incase Ive missed it.

Is their anyone here that has played KZ3 with a DLP 3D Projector and the 3D-XL adapter. I ask as aparently with DLP their is virtually no "crosstalk" which seems an issue for many 3DTVs and games.

Anyone got any views on Killzone 3 in 3D?

I have not played it on a projector but i do have a 50 inch plasma made by samsung model PS50C680 only cross talk i have noticed in 3d is GT5 but you can adjust each eye and depth of field which should be added in every 3d title .

Yeah it runs ace and i did not get any crosstalk at all did have it set to game mode but it reduced the brightness so that is a bit of a pain .
The brightness reduction happens on most 3d games there are a few that have been patched to sort this problem like stardust just wish some of the other developers took note with this and whats stated above with gt5 :(

The worse title i find is wipeout though gives me a headache even without it being in 3d but in 3d on this set its terrible lucky i dont play it much .

Stella, just accepted your friends request. I'll be jumping into a few games in about a week when I get a horrible genetics exam out of the way as the one after that is 2 weeks off and vastly easier to prepare for lol.

What are the most impressive 3D games on the PS3, I take it KZ3 is up their?
I'm planning on getting an Optoma GT720 projector and the Optoma 3DXL or Viewsonic convertor box.

Being a short throw projector it can pump out 120" screen from only 6ft distance all for under £800 inc the adapter. :eek:
 
Looking forward to getting back into some online fun with KZ3, Bren so long just hope I can remember the map layouts :D

They've broken the Operations Frozen Dam scenario in their last patch. 2 minutes is nowhere enough for the ISA to get the doors blown. Then you only have a couple of minutes to hack the gas vents. Impossible.

will try operations when there is more in a group got me wookiee and dinakin on at the moment .
Even though i have a new pc its going to take something special to get me of kz3 for a while .not managed to try out 1.8 patch out before psn went down so got my fingers and toes crossed :D

I did have a quick dabble on Friday night but it's become boring now. I've unlocked everything I want to unlock so I don't really see much point in playing anymore. :( I've been going after some of the different weapon medals but some of them are just so rubbish that it's frustrating and causes me rage.
