Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

I've watched a couple of the insider ESO vids so I assume this is retail?

If so it looks a bit buggy and probably not super smooth (depending on hit spec.) but seeing as the devs had a tiny budget it hasn't dampened my enthusism as I quite like the quirky gamestyle.

Like I mentioned previously if I can play Elex I can play anytrhing!

My gpu couldn't have died at a worse time. Might be waiting until the new ones are released to play this unless I can get this up and running on a gtx770.

Nice, the kickstarter Collector's edition just arrived

Unfortunately I have to wait until tuesday to actually play of course, but ELEX will tide me over until then :)

Haha that's is exactly what I am doing. I must say though, I didn't give Elex a chance the first time around but even with all it's flaws it's a great game!

Am really looking forward to this, hope it's a hit.

Thats a worry of mine (along with how playable the combat is) , that the game is really getting some serious hype train and I'm hoping that it lives up to the hype

Yeah I was waiting for patches, it seems Piranha stopped patching it so I delved in and it is great, fun RPG, even if it is yet another Gothic 2 remake :)

With Kingdom Come, I do think it will be fantastic, but it will require some acceptance that dialogue animations are not the best and combat will take some learning.

Really looking forward to this. And I really like this comment from Will Powers @ Warhorse re: the day one patch:

The production realities of game development mean that a ‘release’ version has to be finalized some time before the actual release date. We could have used this time to get some rest, or we could use it to create some additional content and sell it to you as DLC, but we went back to the version-to-be-released and worked on it. The results are obvious: quests are more balanced, RPG progression is smoother, the game runs faster and every facet of the game got more polish.

Only watched first 10 minutes but it actually looks a lot smoother than previous build vids i'd seen. Im quite impressed dammit. The models and anims can look a tiny bit ropey but pretty good. The lip synching looks a lot tiny tiny bit better as well (thought this was diabolical before)

ofc the main test where the game will fall or rise ....is combat.

Also not sure why video in prev post was comparing this to Skyrim because for me number 1 in open world environments has to be Witcher3.(havent played the newest Assassins creed tho) Skyrim is what 5 or 6 years old now?

edit: nah still hate the lip synching. Facial animations not super but only a small studio i guess.

Press copy is 1.1, don't think it includes the day 1 patch.

Is anyone not buying this game due to

"Frankly speaking, the lead developer, Daniel Vávra, is an unashamed racist and sexist. His Twitter account is full of anti-PC, anti-‘social justice warrior’ tirades that come across as the ramblings of a xenophobe. He is also a supporter of GamerGate and makes absolutely no attempt to hide his reprehensible opinions."

Personally this would not stop me from buying any game, there are a load of developers and employees that sit behind the lead developer that require as much support as the main man.

Also I cant seem to find anything on these allegations? Genuinely interested but all I can see is his firing down some SJW wannabe about the historical accuracy of black people not being present in the game?

Sources please for more if there is any?
