Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

Watched some footage by the ESO guys and whilst it feels slow combat it surprised me by how well everything looks.

Still not sure whether to pick it up yet though.

Im undecided currently, I need to watch some streamed footage. The graphics are good, especially the aesthetics of the forests and villages but is it fun. The combat sounds novel, quite unique and realistic, but is it fun. These are the questions I need to further investigate, sometimes too much realism can actually mean less fun and primarily I need a game to be fun and secondarily look good and innovate.

Fingers crossed but I need to do more research before pulling the trigger on the buy button.

While this game appeals to me on an rpg / exploration level, I worry that the strict adherence to realism might make the game a bit laborious. The environments look great, especially the forests. Are these areas going to be populated with quest givers though, or are they just there for "decor"?

i loved the fact that a fist to the face actually bruises the face and the effect stays (till heal etc)

soooo tempting.... But I have tons I haven't finished yet..Witcher 3 dark souls 3 divinity 1, sherlock crimes + punishments, mgs5, deus ex md, soma....the list just goes on... maybe i should just accept i can't finish games anymore...even games i actually like haha.

Many of us have just accepted that and now we have inner peace, join us :p

I'm one of the backers so bought this years ago and had access to the alpha and beta. Those versions were too early to get a very good impression of the gameplay and voice acting, the game also ran at 20-30 FPS, no matter the hardware, although it looked amazing. However, the trailers show that lots of progress has been made so I'm really looking forward to this.

I've been watching https://www.twitch.tv/aimsongaming play the game today. Hes put 17.5 hours into the game so far, 10 of which have been today alone. Here are some of the things he said:

"It's definitely worth $60, of course it is$

"the game is not forgiving, its dark souls hard at times, but it can be avoided if you wanted to"

Cant decide if I should buy it through steam or CDKeys

Not sure if posted, but greenman gaming will do 20% off using FEB20 code. Drops price down to £32 and you get bonus content for pre-ordering for extra £2 over CD keys :)
