Kingdom (Netflix)

Just finished watching Kingdom Ashin of the North, loved it. Same high production values as Season 1 and 2, tied in very nicely with the first two seasons at the end and gave a very good backstory/origin story to what will undoubtedly be a major character in season 3.

Same thought it was a good origin story which ties in to the events past. Pacing was a little slow in the beginning but it was worth it imo. Can't wait for season 3.

Why was it disappointing? It took a while to get going, but was a good addition to Kingdom and filled in some blanks.

Will check out that new show.
i thought it sucked. long and drawn out and nothing to do w/ zombies until literally the last ten minutes. totally jarred w/ expectations being as Kingdom was pedal-to-the-metal mentalness.

It was an origin story, meaning the zombies weren't always there and explaining how they came to be.

I agree it wasn't zombies for quite sometime, but then it wouldn't have been an origin story.

I enjoyed it and it added to the kingdom lore.

It wasn't the best prequel but it came through in the end. You get to see why Ashin is the way she is and what fuels her anger.

I look forward to All of Us Are Dead, looks great!

Effin enjoyed this. Really likeable characters and good story, so much so
I was really sad that the bodyguard died
Great costumes and sets too.

All this and like a lot of people lost interest in zombies, and not a huge samurai type lover either. Found it quite hard to figure out all the names and places, so just rolled with not knowing :D
