FYI The V200 is faster in all bar 1 test thatn the v+200 as the v+200 is based on the sandforce controller.

Personally if funds allow and outright speed is required then I would only go with the M4 or samsung 830.

If you are looking at budget get the Kingston V200 (not v+200).

Its all on paper, none of those tests are based around everyday life so only use them as a rough reference. Its really up to the individual at the end of the day, its a good price for a 120GB but most of us want something with a little more storage...

Are those legitreviews numbers for the V200+ correct? Tomshardware has it benched much closer to the advertised 535MB/s read & 480MB/s write.

sequential reads and writes arent importaint so i dont know why everyone uses them to decide which ssd is better

This is exactly what Im going on about ! Everyone will have different figures for it so just either go with it because its a good price and has a good warrenty or wait for a bigger deal to come along sometime in the near future. End of.

Agreed, Look at the real world performance charts such as file copying etc.

Some one changed my post from the images shown to URL's I guess this is because it made the page too long......

If thats the case Ive made 2 images now so its not as long to load etc.

EDIT:

As I said in my first post, everything has its place. You will either want to go for the V+200 or not. Personally I dont like the sandforce controllers with all the problems. Which Is why I referenced the v200.
