Kyle Rittenhouse - teen who shot three people in Kenosha

Whole trial is a joke I would hope Kyle gets acquitted on the charges relating to the three people he shot but certainly not confident of this result.

CNN said:

To be clear if you threaten to kill and then chase someone armed with a gun that person is fully justified in shooting you.

We then have skate board man and man armed with a handgun (who tried to execute Kyle with said gun).

Both also clear cases of proportional self defence whilst actively being under attack.

Again, we don't know. Maybe he just said that because he was crazy, but i think its important to keep an open mind about this, rather than assume Kyle was an angel and that Rosenbaum was completely unprovoked.

I don't see anyone portraying Kyle as an angel.

But there is still the report of him saying "“Don't point no XXXXXXXX gun at me!

Which, could imply he was threatened and had guns pointed at him. Therefore some peoples reasoning in this thread, if he had a gun too, he would have been justified in shooting those that had pointed the gun at him?

Did you actually watch the footage? It isn't a report, you can watch it yourself. I don't know how anyone can watch the footage and defend Rosenbaum, when Kyle is pointing his gun at him it's because he's threatening him and he has no choice except to be accosted by a lunatic.

Given what 'evidence' the prosecution has shown so far it certainly seems that Rittenhouse was acting in self defense. But, this is the US judicial system and its plenty ****** up especially in the modern age were people's political and social views hold sway over facts. What was it that AoC said, something along the lines of rather than be factual right she'd prefer to be morally right or something. There's also the added bonus of blm activist's apparently trying to dox the jurors to ensure they get the verdict they want. Crazy

Well put it this way. We've heard an awful lot from people in here about the character and past of those who were shot, but not a lot about Kyle (ie beating up the girl , and him looking at alleged shoplifters and actually saying he wished he had his gun to shoot them)

I mean the bias is clear as day.

Personally I think its clear that all those involved were terrible people. I guess it's just lucky for Kyle that he had a powerful rifle and was a lot more trigger happy than everyone else.

I'm not defending Rosenbaum. I personally think they both hold blame for what happened.

Like I said earlier I don't agree that he is guilty of murder in the 1st degree, but I'd be inclined to vote guilty on the second degree/reckless charge.

So the statements made by Rosenbaum earlier in the chain of events - I catch you alone I'll kill you (paraphrasing) and then following Rittenhouse when he was indeed alone and clearly being the aggressor hasn't put any element of doubt into your mind? You'll just stick with your initial thoughts from a year ago?

I'm also interested in what blame Rittenhouse holds in your view? Is it just the fact that he was carrying a gun in the open in a state with open carry laws? Or he was putting out fires started by the rioters?

But we also have Rittenhouse saying a few weeks before that he wanted his gun so he could shoot shoplifters. We sort of both have them stating their intentions, so i feel that what happened was sort of inevitable (but completely avoidable)

Hence why i really have little sympathy for either of them, and suspect both were there to heighten tensions/stir the pot.

Kyle Rittenhouse was there giving out first aid and attempting to stop rioters from vandalising, he was chased and attacked by the said rioters and was forced to defend himself with deadly force, please man just stop these dumb arguments

Ahh the video where it's someone off camera talking so you can't tell if it is indeed Rittenhouse, the one where the judge said it was inadmissible?

Vigilantism should never be excused.

You across like one of those folks who has swallowed the red pill big time and moved to the middle east to fight alongside the Peshmerga.
