The US is a nation built entirely on immigrants (or will be, at least, once they have completely marginalised the aboriginal people).

I would prefer to keep a stiff upper lip and soldier on the true Brit way.

Drunk, angry and shouting.

I wouldn't mind immigration so much if we had the United States's population density...

Off the top of my head, if the US had England's population density then their population would be something like two billion wouldn't it?

I'm not sure, I'm afraid.

I've always thought that the frogs should live here, and we should take their land.

After building a big moat, obviously.

And broke, don't forget this.. And with all the taxes, how can you afford to be drunk? And if we shout, with the new regime then we'll be locked up for "freedom of speech".

Nasty times, horrid place I feel... It's a bumpy road up ahead. Ensure to fasten seatbelts, and get vomit bags ready, Gordon Brown is coming to town..

Sounds good to me - they have our population but twice the land :)

But, if the theories are correct, it's only Africa can can claim to not be populated by immigrants. After all, genetic studies imply we all (from Caucasian to Oriental to Negro), ALL came out of Africa ..... if you go back far enough. By that definition, the US is a country of immigrants, but so is Japan, China, France, Germany, Iraq, Eqypt, Israel, Australia ..... and the UK.

It makes the definition of "immigrant" a bit slippery, doesn't it? :D

How long do you, or your ancestors, have to be resident in a country before you become indigenous, not an immigrant? To my mind, if you were born here, you aren't an immigrant, even if your racial antededents lie elsewhere.

GD moment:

Can nobody see the benefits of this? I can finally see the bedroom of all the hot chicks that have said no over the years!

I would say that I agree, but I'm in enough trouble with FF already, today. :D

But I certainly would say that (despite Yorkshire, the Lake District, much of Wales, large parts of Scotland, and even some of the South East) if it comes to a comparison between countryside, France has the UK beaten hands down. There just isn't a comparison.

I'd go with that.. Heck, most parts of the "REAL" europe are better then the UK. Yorkshire can be quite decent at certain times of the year, as can the Lake District... It's not the actual land I hate, its the muppets running this country I've got the problem with.. Oh, and London.. Should nuck that from space, just to be sure..!! :p (I'm just joking, before I get banned)

And for the record, no I did not vote Labour, and have NEVER voted these s****s into power...

Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees this?

Every time someone mentions the UK becoming part of the US, I get this image in my head of the old style weather maps with little oars poking out of the sides slowly rowing the country across the water and it makes me giggle lots...
