That's correct.

Also Gibbo this is a great deal, the XFX may be cheaper elsewhere but you certainly won't get good CS (xfx), the fact that you honor the full 3 year warranty on the Asus makes it well worth the extra :)

I'm really tempted to get one now.

I know the feeling, spoilt for choice great offer left right and centre, think il just have one of everything and keep the one thats the best :)

If it make you feel any better, i had my refund within 48 hours when my ASUS went wrong, if i had a replacment then i guess i would have received that within 72 hours, so not bad is it, worry not and go for it, they got you covered ;)
 
My faulty ASUS Maximus V Gene mainboard was booked in at OcUK at 15:02 on Thursday. A replacement was shipped out the same day and I had it installed less than 24 hours later. I also DSR'd the Matrix Platinum in the same box, the refund was also processed that afternoon.

You can't argue with that kind of service.

My understanding is that RMAs on the XFX are handled by the etailer also. Still doesn't mean it'd be as good as OcUKs though.
 
The thought just occurred to me that I'd be looking to watercool anyway, so would void warranty doing that. So length of warranty doesn't really make much difference (unless OcUK have a similar agreement with Asus as they do with MSI regarding cooler removal)?

So it seems that I'm best off getting the cheapest.

Asus are not happy with the price, on Monday it shall go up, so if you want one get one over the weekend.
